That's a surprise. Best get back to joining the dots. Me? I'll just wait for the news when it finally arrives. Anything else is pure speculation and blatant ramping. What I will say is this. There will definitely be an update this year.

“The IMF team will continue discussions with the authorities on the remaining steps needed to bring the Republic of Congo’s request for a three-year arrangement under the Extended Credit Facility to the consideration of its Executive Board. This will require some adjustments to the 2019 Draft Budget, implementation of reforms to improve governance and transparency, and the provision of explicit assurances on financing from external official creditors, including debt relief, which is needed to restore debt sustainability."

Extrader thanks for the post. I rather wait for real news like an RNS from the company. That way I'm not playing a guessing game. I dropped Trahar a line more or less saying what you have said CashFerret. Putting out the odd tweet simply isn't good enough. They made a statement on the 1st of October and haven't backed it up. WHY?

Hi Ex

definitely no chance at 6 euro! you could have had a pint for that! Thanks for the info, most stories even including the bbg one seem to just be piecing together of various newsbites.

The more substantial official releases are few and far between!

It really is about time that AT and his team got their PR and IR up to scratch. If they want to play with the big boys they need to act like it.
Keep your investors informed and in touch - release strategies and issues. Investors like that - good news or bad if you keep informed you will gain more trust and more investment
Weren't we due an update and if you cant then tell us you cant yet but it will come by this date - keep us informed or watch SH trust and SP erode to your own behest

Hi Geo,

Edited highlights only !

I 'bit' and paid Euro 6 (not 5 ;-<). Only 160 words or so....and mostly re-hashing what is already in the public domain (multiple IMF to-ing and fro-ing), first time I'd seen a reference to a possible 'nix', by Xi.

Remember, he sent Kenyatta packing at FOCAC (who arrived, per PBateman with a new project financing proposal re next phase of railway) saying that China wanted to see the commerciality of existing.

So maybe there's something in it. Wonder if tomshare our erstwhile resident Sinologist has any views ?

Hi Ex,

there have been a few articles in this style from that site, when you say rest of article behind paywall and then give a summary does that mean you paid your 5 euros, and you are being kind enough to give us the article FOC?

Things still on hold...

Hi all

…..The signing in Washington of a new programme with Brazzaville is on hold at Beijing's behest....

Rest of article behind paywall. Says the stumbling block is Chinese distrust of Congolese and that Xi has backtracked on terms supposedly agreed with Nguesso at FOCAC.

No idea how credible africaintelligence is as a source. It claims to be

Just a feeling

But I have a very good feeling about this over the coming weeks. I’m sure many have waited patiently. That may have to continue for a little while. But good things are happening in the background. This can’t sleep dormant for too much longer

Spiv rampers stated the dates, end of Sept early Oct. Fortunately the main Mendacious Member has (sold up?) moved on with his many aliases and sheep.

If you are an investor just like most shares it's a waiting game, know the asset, understand the market for it (which is probably the most difficult part) and trust the BoD. Not much else to it.

Outlook and next steps

The global iron ore market continues to show strong demand fundamentals and solid support for high quality products such as Zanaga would produce.

The Zanaga Project Team have done an excellent job in progressing the definition of the EPP Project and advancing its economic assessment. The Zanaga project has always targeted the production of premium quality products and we remain focused on this strategy, including the potential to extend the product development plan through to the production of high quality pellet feed or pellets.

While port and power arrangements remain a challenge, the Zanaga Project Team continue to engage with stakeholders on the new mineral port as well as the opportunities presented by the extension of the port of Pointe Noire itself.

We look forward to providing further information to shareholders towards the end of 2018.
====================================================

To be fair the last RNS half yearly report on the 28/09/2018 states further information towards the end of the year. So if they hadn't tweeted saying update coming soon I wouldn't be complaining.

Agreed cashFerret. Putting out the odd tweet simply isn't good enough. He can stick his tweets where the sun doesn't shine. Let's have a proper RNS. An update was promised "soon" on the 1st of October. Where is it??

Sooty perhaps you hit the nail on the head - AT doesnt have any news and is simply trying to keep the momentum going.
Regardless holding well at these levels - all news is fake news (especially the rampers here) unless its an RNS :) !

One day Sidney you may just get it right. Shall we now say Wednesday 7.00am? I wouldn't set your alarm though. Can I make a suggestion to Andrew Trahar? Instead of putting out vague tweets how about some real news as promised long ago on the 1st of October.
