hi graham thanks for your regards i sold out of tw just over a week ago bought into bdev for the pre dividend surge soon as i sold tw they start rising sods law more the dividend plan is to sell bdev just before the dividend as i dont want to left with a tax bill on the dividend amount i bought at exactly 555p they did go lower still a couple days later to 546 but that is investing for you have tom admit i am happy with the rise so far best of luck with tw to all the other holders as well i have no doubt they will also go up maybe even test the 180s possibly next year up but there will also be frustrating times as well

Hi Graham
Change in sentiment long overdue, DC on bdev now which is a good move.
Sent him a reply:
"Given perfect timing I should have bought bdev 06/07/18 at 483 (tw 173), now bdev 570 (tw still 173).
My float in bdev bought at 559 (10/09/18) for XDivdt cos I did not anticipate better than expected PreFin
results (12/07/18)."
Think bdev on course for 640 +
Going to change my system by increasing Float to 67%, 33% base value, (from 50, 50).

Re SB. I can only say that use use SB as a way of structuring trades so there is no tax to pay. You can replicate normal trades and manage the risk down (just to save tax), or accept more risk by leverage, if you know what you are doing. However, since Mifid 2 unless you have “professional status” the leverage is substantially reduced. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are the gambling type, and trade on a whim or B.B. tips.

Seem to be increasing all the time. How can you see any trend when most deals after hours?
Really annoys me.

I was listening to a conversation in the pub last night about spread betting. The one chap said he was Investing £1000 pm and getting a return of £300 . My ears picked up. The other guy turned to him and said" be careful they lure you into a sense of security and then you end up like me with nothing".

AFO Hi,

I am sorry but I do not do spread bets but I trade through ii and I would think they do so this is their link and I hope it may be of help.

Hi Jakob
Generally low per represents -ve sentiment (all builders suffering cos of Brexit), but crst and Lse shares have even more -ve sentiment cos sales suffering in Lse. So low Per only represents good value if backed up by good accounts and prospects.
Brexit panic so bad now the companies least affected are those with the most cash (psn. bdev and tw) cos they can't possibly go bust. From this point of view bwy and rdw are the best value at the moment, bwy FinRes 16/10/18 and in Prefin reported they have £100 Mn cash, while rdw totally safe cos mainly owned by chairman who could just privatise it.
2 other companies mentioned are gfrd (I watch them but avoid - mainly low margin Civils) and gle (small builder - make most money out of land trading, where they have been very successful but no guarantee this will continue).
Nice to see all builders up today - expecting to see bdev moving soon as people buy the divi.

I mentioned last Friday that the TW weekly candle was setting up with a more promising outlook.
There's allot to be said for Japanese candles along with a few other TA indicators.
TW Should keep rising (overall) till the end of this month, setting up nicely for the santa rally.

Hi Corlis
I've never used charts I wouldn't know where to begin. I've watched Zak Mir a few times not sure if he gets anything right.
To me if you look at the Tw chart the average max and min lines are converging in the 160s does that mean we are going lower.
What is a candlestick and a downward leg sounds like horse racing jargon to me :))
