Hi Troubles
Just Calcd bdev should be 100 more than close price on Friday = 17% by 18/05/18. Quite a return for 3 months! All in so no spare cash to invest.
My knowledge derived from numbers!

Hi Corlis,
The ONS economic review was in January and probably contributed to the delay in the projected upthrust that appears to be indicated by the charts.

if I didn't know this then i'd still be saying the chart is really setting up for a nice move upwards.

As far as economic growth is concerned., economists expected 0.4% in 3 months to Dec but was actually 0.5%.
In 2017, growth was 1.8% compared with 1.9% in 2016. This was the slowest since 2012 according to the ONS.
Unemployment edged higher to 4.4%.
The productivity figures just indicate a less worse state.
Can play around with statistics forever more but does not change the reality of what people feel and see on the ground.

I should have included ‘IMO’ as I don’t have the time/inclination to review and compare, apologies. I’ve just sensed a desire to promote more pessimistic views in the UK of late. Perhaps it’s just me.
