ha BS, time will tell i guess. sorry you don't like my style. for me i just wish people would focus on the reasoned discussion and less on the personality of the poster. you also misread: i am not the least concerned about Eroton's financial health for reasons i could debate at length but sure that would lead to other accusations...

Alaric - Eroton - your recent posts seem to indicate your running just a tad scared as to the financial ability of Eroton to meet their October payments?

Posting styles - as a general comment I would say you could learn a lot by familiarising yourself with PC01 posting style, it's altogether more balanced and realistic giving more credence to his posts..

and so am i. all major hurdles behind us, cash in bank, MW now strategic partner shareholder, high oil price and $10m share buyback to start shortly. massively undervalued at today's price or put another way how many times do you price in the very low risk of quarterly payment not coming through? very low, as i've explained unthinkable for jite to miss and consequences for him too severe and for us beneficial if he did. so i believe this is the last chance to buy at these levels. when this payment comes as it most assuredly will and soon now*, unless we get suspended first with an rto announcement and then, either way, that opportunity will be gone. *before end of month imo. if it hadn't for any reason, i believe Sle would be bound to announce that it was starting enforcement of the security. so end of month is absolute to my mind.

Yes admit any more delays will be a concern but optimistic that it will be made.

I think the only reason we are not higher is that nagging doubt as to the exact timing and location of the $18mm payment - all the other parts of the jigsaw fit quite nicely once that is announced!
Equally further delays = doubt = a drift in the SP.
I remain highly optimistic!

As we run up to the end of this month the loan payment will have to be made hopefully, and ST getting nearer of leaving, their scheme foiled, Midwestern coming on board and being a new holder may want more themselves as the buy back bekons know that this when announced and most share held by institutional is going north as the shares will have to bought in the open market.

Keep a hold of them!

PC01 'pessimists' are quite healthy in a discussion. what we have had here has been much worse than that with a concerted troll campaign against San Leon over time, which is why i and a few others here give no quarter on their unsubstantiated bile, much of it from posters who hold no current interest. agree delayed news on q payment will no doubt be grist for the mill of those who have an agenda here. whilst I am keen to hear that news, I do know it would be unthinkable for Jite to miss the payment, unless perhaps merger discussions are in fact ongoing. (if Jite did miss any payment for any reason, our security all but in OML18 equity, as I understand it, is fine with me). and imagine we will get share buyback clearance in short order now.

Yes I agree having low liquidity means a high spread and that puts people off. If you buy on the ask you already have to gain 5% just to break even

Been out for a couple of days - but as ever enjoy the banter on the board. Alaric, you mentioned a reversing into SLE by Eroton. I have heard this as well, as we know despite all its short-comings an AIM listing in London is a bit like buying a London property under UK law...its a good place for a Nigerian entity to be able to gain access...
re share price moves, as I have tried to point out, there is no liquidity in the market at all. The bid-offer is often 1.5p so 5% which doesn't act as a great incentive to trade. What will move the price on from here is the safe arrival of the quarterly $18mm (its quite late now!) and the share buy-back. An RNS proving both will see an uplift, a RNS saying 'not sure what happened, but the $18mm hasn't turned up' will cause a drop back to the lows of 20p...and plenty of ammunition for the pessimists to get their teeth into...you can see them, hoping...a bit like my labrador as he awaits his dinner, drooling ....
I remain optimistic!

strange though this must seem to somebody who has had no holding in this company over 4 years and still posts and so begs the question ACTUALLY WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?, i am just a shareholder. maybe try a different tack ? - the 'you must work for the company or cantors or tosca' line has been done to death by DisHonest himself, your sister and a few others. if you hadn't noticed, it doesn't get any traction on this board. up to you, and maybe your mummy and daddy didn't tell you this, but endlessly repeating a lie doesn't make it any the more credible.

Just the trans genders trying to manipulate the price down to scare PIs to sell. I recommend hold as the fundamentals are favourable, but sell if you must, demand should be greater than supply once the circus has run its course.

Wondering whether it is actually B7 who is having hormone treatment in preparation to be the new but somewhat already sullied S8, perhaps sid and B7 are the same entity struggling with a split personality and now trans gender issues in their care home under the cruel authority of a merciless matron. Being charitable as we are heading toward Christmas cheer, let's hope they find themselves in that identity tryst, poor confused things; bunch of bullshitters.

LACT units - Barry oil loss allocation - almost there hope they prove it is not Eroton "leakage "
RNS Extract - Three of the five planned Lease Automatic Custody Transfer ("LACT") units are now operational in the field (on Alakiri, Krakama and Cawthorne-1 production areas), with units on Cawthorne-2 and Cawthorne-3 expected to be operational around the start of Q4.2018

both installation of the LACT units for OML 18 to get accurate readings at the transfer point of our oil and the hugely important alternative crude evacuation and storage facilities are both designed to deal with the 'fly in the ointment'. we await news on both.

100,000 BPD - The fly in the ointment is of course 40% pipeline losses due to theft - I love the "mutually cogent"" terminology it has a nice sound about ir - maybe this is the next step in the drama - don't understand these low share purchases strange?

PC01 the far greater value proposition for Tosca, Capital, Midwestern and all shareholders lies through the rto route much discussed and reasoned already on this board. the positives from achieving a merged vehicle with Jite Okoloko are so mutually cogent that i believe this will still happen. without repeating all that reasoning again now, the really important bit is that it would immediately allow OML18 to be fully exploited to achieve the kind of levels set out in the admission docs in excess of 100,000 bpd. and possibly even more with new exploration in the field and an enhanced resources update. if the pipeline project were included in such a merger as well, as would be logical, then we would be looking at a second very substantial business model being added to the equation (i suspect this prospect is presently underrated by shareholders, understandably as we don't yet have enough detail nor is there certainty of its inclusion). so i don't see any of our institutional or corporate shareholders going anywhere just yet.

Ha really does look like Honest's gender reassignment has not worked out at all and he/ she has ended up non binary, not knowing if coming or going. And what's his crush on Bluerill all about?

Although, nice to have some comedy on the board to go alongside the refreshingly detailed posts about the SLE story... which is what actually matters and why we're all here.

GOSH S8 you are quite something - not a day after 'I've doubled down and need 140 to break even' back comes the vitriol...2 things - market making ain't what it used to be...cost of capital is extremely expensive for small brokers...I reckon Cantors will charge their market-makers no less than 10% for stale positions (positions typically held over 1 week or 1 month) and maybe as much as 50% for a 3-moth one...and there is absolutely no chance on god's green earth that one of SLE's market makers would be allowed to hold a such a sizeable position because of their VAR limits...so let's leave the machievellian market-manipulating nonsense to John Le Carre - the share price will be what it is, driven by fundamentals of demand and supply...and there isn't much of the latter it would seem.
On your more interesting point re Tosca, who knows what their end game is...they have undeniably invested huge amounts of time and capital in SLE and will want to ensure a decent return if they can. There is every chance they could decide to take it private, tho I think more likely is a trade sale of their position to the company that ends up owning SLE. And there we private investors do have a problem...as we get taken out of our stock at a premium to where it trades today but maybe not at the final resting price where we would like to see the SP reach. In that case we have the board to hold our hand...which for some of you might not be the best thing you'll read today given your view! I think there will be much more clarity for all of us over the next 4-6 weeks.

Not the best use of time to read let alone understand the garbage that sid, frus and brother7 write, and just because sid is now s8 with his purple wig and matching lipstick doesn't mean any sense comes from him/her, only hysterical impending disaster and vitriol. They really do belong in a care home behind lock and key. SLE fundamentals are stacked favourably for normal investors. S8 shouldn't worry because doubling a holding of zero is still zero so she has nothing to worry about, other than, hopefully, a very pissed off matron.
