all started years ago, keith1. i was introduced to this successful man. he styled himself on my childhood idol, Indian Jones, but his hair do was more dennis the menace. at first his words were like ice cream. tasty, flavoursome, and could be whisked into a liquid drink at parties called AGMs. I know i shouldnt go to those parties. but i couldnt help it. but then his promises fell through. time after time. he built my hopes up only to have them crash down again. finally, i was locked up in some hell hole boarding place with posts all around. like a bad dream i could awake from.
re child Services,i was lucky i did not Need them as i had a wonderful Family, however whereas some children recieve a great benefit from child Services i realize throughout my years.and what i have read that a lot of These Services are more damaging than good i dont know what you meant in your Statement or even if you knew what you meant please enlighten me ,because there are always two sides to any Situation and Story and i am always there in confidence should you at some time in life had a bad experience, and wish to speak about it the same as i always like to hear and talk with someone that has had a good experience have a nice sleep and hopefully sweet dreams xxx
in my short life ,one Thing my grandad told me was expectation is the root cause of dissapointment and it always proved correct ,because People expect without looking at reality These days grandad once asked me when i was Young what do you want for Christmas i said i have my eye on a pushbike,a rarity then he replied Keep your eye on it but you wont get your ass on it just remembering Long forgotten times my dad once asked what do you want to be after School son i replied ,an astranaut, his Reply if it had been up to him i would have been shot into space years ago what a wonderful upbringing pity People are not the same today
Oldtimer - you are being a bit naughty again and taking your licence to distort and exaggerate to far.
You statements: but all a number of posters are saying is , well if we only connect 1,2,or that’s fine it’s not Foo fault.........nothing seems to concern a number of posters.!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Those statements are plainly untrue, no one is happy with under-performance, but what do you want us to do about it, when you take no action yourself it's a bit rich to criticise others.
I thought it obvious that I'm not pleased with and I've not seen anyone else say they would be happy with 1, I expect (usually turns to hope) companies I invest in out-perform, but we live in a real world where disappointment in AIM is a regular occurrence and not just with VOG. Most VOG investors are resilient, glass half full types, we've had to be. What a miserable board this would be if we all griped like the old faithful. lol
Taking that to its logical conclusion, I fully expect to see an RNS early in the new year confirming most or all of the 12 customers are receiving gas and the scuff rates. If not, then my expectations will not have been met and I will be an unhappy bunny
Expect - to regard as likely Expectation - belief that someone/something should behave in a particular way Neither is a cast iron guarantee but both are likely to instil a strong hope (or even expectation if you'll pardon the pun) in the receiver of the message, resulting in disappointment if not met. Therefore one might argue that one shouldn't raise peoples' hopes if you aren't pretty sure you can achieve them.
