Say, old Malcy appears to have been silent for a while. Waiting to see the market sentiment so that he can write into the direction of the tide? Speaking of sentiment, right on schedule, the dark cloud of 'sudden' revelations about VOG are manifest across the BBs. Clockwork. Although, as VOG commences transformative work schedule, the aural lashes strike deeper and harder. These guys know what they are doing. But we have seen it all before. Yawn.
So am I . So did I. Been hanging on hoping to get a reasonable return from my investment . Great company , great prospects , but due to the dreaded blight caught by the vast majority of AIM companies along with numerous other issues I can no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel here that I used to see. Will I get at the most 50% of my investment back here . Imo highly unlikely. Such is life. ATB guys.
We used to refer to holding 1 Mill + of VOG shares as being in some kind of ELITE CLUB ..... but I am not at all too sure about the 'ELITE' part of the title these days Been in here a long time and been reading this board a long time, too - (sigh)
Sage's earlier post at 08:00 just about sums it all up nicely in a nut shell for me.
Re' my post at 20:24 I am posting from experience! This has happened to me! Anyone else on here? You call your broker and he says - ''you want to sell HOW MANY??? Five minutes and I'll return your call with confirmation - okay?'' 'Ring-Ring' - ''Hello'' Is that Mr. Sucker? It is? Ah! I have a quote on the shares that you are wishing to sell .....''
''I didn't call you for a quote, I have calculated the shares worth, and it's 1 Million UK Sterling''
Then comes the final reckoning - THEIR RECKONING - you've been well and truly done over.
forest4032 as you said in your post at 02:06 ..... ''for the record its not my cause, I just think any cause or campaign what might help to level out the playing field ..... & etc'' For the record: I signed this very worthy petition when the originator Marc Rowlands posted on this board asking for assistance in bringing these 'Robber Barrons' to heel. If only, what?
I could not agree with rodlin more regarding apathy of PI's These 'Robber Barrons' (a.k.a. Market Makers) hold the whip hand and just you wait. one-and-all, until the day dawns when you decide to SELL UP (the final MM shakedown)
I'll bet that there are more that 'one-or-two' that post on here ... + other forums ... that hold a lot more than 1 Million shares in Victoria Oil and Gas yeah? Just my opinion ... but I think that the MAGIC number is 100p. If the s.p. hits this MAGIC number I would lay odds that a lot of long suffering investors would say ''THAT'S IT I AM WEIGHING IN THE LOT''
So ... 1 Million shares @ 100p ... [hmmmmm let's see now] that's a million squid yeah? NO IT IS NOT YOU ARE SET TO BE SCREWED FOR ONE FINAL TIME BY the MM's.
The Market Size for Victoria Oil and Gas is [ONLY] 5,000. If you try and SELL any more than * five-thousand-shares * in one single transaction you'll be <deleted>!!!
I'm surprised at the apathy of PI's in respect of this petition that I signed months ago. The reporting of buys and sells is well skewed, and should be reported as what they are, not how they fall against the mid point. Any possibility of levelling the playing field should be taken. It barely takes a couple of minutes to sign the petition.
10 years since my first involvement in vog.Directors, and ceo`s have come and gone, some nice salaries earned but like so many other companies....the shareholders, the one`s who finance everything and underpin it..have nothing to show for years of loyal support.
the talk on here over the years is that domestic use is a no brainer when it comes to making money ?, I live in a country area of UK and over recent years and without grants from government many kilometres of 300mm dia pipes have been laid by private gas companies, there is little or no industry in these areas, and also very small villages along the way , 5 to 10 kilometres apart, with 100 to 5 hundred houses each,at moment virtually all of these are using oil, so getting them to convert to gas will not be easy at todays prices, these companies can lay approx 1 kilometres each week with a couple of modern diggers and some special machinery required for this type of work, I would think the biggest outlay is the pipes and valves required, over 100 kilometres of pipes have been laid up until today, I know there is a difference between UK and C-ROON but they have no real competation but we have in the UK, have I made a truthfull statement or not, ?. ps I would think that those involved are looking at long term payback on all sides.
