laying a driveway and drilling these wells are no no different if you know what you are doing then the driveway is good and the same with drilling these two wells and any suggestion that vog would use inexperienc to do the wells is completely absurd too many on here comment before putting the brain into gear in my opinion stick around you will soon get used to the system
Are back out in force today... Come on then tell us how you think VOG are streets ahead and delivering on promises. The fact is they fall woefully short on everything! Spent millions to deliver peanuts. You 2 are disgraceful in the way you ramp this share huffs, scuffs and sugar puffs!
Get your thinking caps on for the next barrage of how good the company is progressing. Try telling that to the people who have lost 1'000's here.
Whilst I admire your unrelenting positive attitude towards achievements made surely there must come a point where even you must admit the way things get done in this company leaves a huge amount to be desired. Yes operationally we go forward a bit but when comparing the rate of forward progress against the plan we are falling woefully short. In my younger days I was a keen student of history and watching this company's progress is anomalous to the utter wastage of trench warfare in WW1 - the idiots at the top would have continued with their failed policy at huge cost on all sides in terms of men. Thank goodness technology change (tanks), new blood and thinking (the Yanks and the like of Churchill) brought the horrors of trench warfare to an end, yes during offensive phases we gained a few hundred yards but at what cost. Less than 20 years later lessons were learn't by one side resulting in the blitzkrieg, unfortunately WW2 just brought about a different type of carnage due to idiots at the top. It really is time for change at this company and if ol Jack wanted to take this company out then he'd get my full six figure holding in support, I've had enough of our equivalent of General Haig.
Exactly Siliv, think about how Jack feels and he has more experience than we do. It's a true reflection of what has been happening down Doula way for the past 10 years. Believe me Jack is F******* raging about the amateurish behaviour in VOG. One common denominator to attribute all of the past f*** U** too...
The problem here BM is that with VOG we have heard it all before. On the face of it this seems like massive progress, a dynamic company moving forward and in profit. Lovely jubbly!
The wider perspective is the company is perceived to be tainted by it's past history and wholesale failures, and the people who are in charge now were in charge then. There is no trust. And with a partner like RSM who even now after all the past trouble, start litigation proceeding against us, then no one especially ii's are going to want to touch this company with a bargepole. I really don't know what the answer is apart from change the management to someone stronger and more respected, and develop Matanda extinguishing RSM's involvement (if that is even possible).
This share should on paper be way higher than it is today.
OT I am as frustrated as the next person that VOG appear to have taken two steps backwards on this sorry drilling saga, but honestly what basis do you have for that 'taking it apart and rebuilding it' comment? Or was it tongue in cheek?
Personally I can't believe we are trusting what is purported to be a very complex high pressure drilling project to people with no experience at all i.e. Savannah Oil. I know we have our person overseeing the project but I've said this before, track record and previous experience is a vital factor in every assessment when carrying out any form of project. Cheap is not necessarily best. I would of happily seen additional costs for an experienced company even if we had to bring them in from outside. We are talking about a $40M project here not someone laying a front driveway!
