Of the BOD? I know the share price has lost a little bit of ground but you have to speculate to accumulate. Mr Foo seems a very honerable chap and appears to only work in the interest of shareholders to his own detriment. I honestly can't see what the problem is he is doing a great job. The Russian oil field looks an excellent prospect.
Must admit I gave taken my eye of this company - looked at it ages ago , pre the share consolidation and thereafter the SP seemed to run away with its self. It's fallen a lot of late yet the company is generating sales, profits and cash is ok to boot. I'm hoping an update comes out on Tuesday - giving me or the misses time to buy on Monday . Gla
always look at fundamentals in depth before buying a share. think you bought in because it was under 10p and you was going to be minted. it does not work like that. maybe you did not know but the figures in brackets are losses. one just sticks out and glares at you. might surprise you but if this went up I would not care. don't give up the day job just yet.
Well blackpuss as you are the previously banned poster captain cash who has trolled this board for many a moon under various ids . I am sure as in the past a bit of decent news will eventually evolve from VOG to help increase the SP here and send you back into the woodwork to hibernate as usual for a short time at least. You wouldn't understand a fundamental if you sat on one. Understanding fundamentals is not really part of your remit or agenda is it ,
Imo any prospective investor considering buying shares in the company who has thoroughly researched through much of the information that is currently available in the public domain would outline a long list of points that would make a strong case for making a purchase . On fundamentals alone there is no doubt that the current MCap of around £M36 is only a small fraction of what it ought to be. If you didn't know the company was VOG and you considered all the company's assets and applied some key ratios to the figures and considered estimated production growth most imo would come up with a guestimate nearer to 4 x what it is for MCap. So what possible future events if any are likely to cause the SP here to move significantly higher ?. 3rd big power contract + more users on line , West Med sale , getting Kem back , Oil strike from the anomaly , massive increase in proven gas assets from the current drills , Foo giving back his royalties , takeover etc. Imo not often mentioned is that when old JG leaves the party . He will at sometime . He is not too far off 85 and there will be a good chance that his children who are involved in his business assets will cash in at some point. Like many others I am still here waiting for the improbable to happen . Maybe not for too much longer though. Because of the lack of progress on the current drills along with the pathetic existing SP there are quite rightly a number of genuine posters showing their displeasure of events on this bb . The problem is that at times like this the trolls appear on mass out of the mire and cling on to everyone who makes a genuine negative comment. Come on VOG . For once give us something out of the blue to turn our investment here into something worth holding. Might bring a bit more genuine discussion to the bb as well.
'The weather in Douala in recent weeks has been shocking by the way.'
Don't tell me it's been raining in the RAINY season? If this was going to be such an issue what genius planned a drilling project in the RAINY Season in the first place. Yes you guessed it, our expert BoD!
Madvoger - What a load of tosh. Cameroon is NOT in the deepest darkest remotest part of the Amazonian rainforest where everything is brought in on the back of Donkeys! It is a modern city with electricity, roads, and everything. They even have an extensive and growing gas pipeline paid for by you and me! The experts are meant to be the jokers who are running this outfit. THEY are the ones who said Spudding by the end of June. Then spun the lightning story, Then advised Spudding imminent what was it 2 - 3 weeks ago. Absolute joke and more fool you for defending this inept management and even more worrying total lack of communication with the shareholders, as an acceptable way to conduct a public company.
