Youth is not on my side - so, I am just wondering (seriously) from spudding in Matanda and all of the associated blah blah - laying of pipes - blah blah & etc connecting customers and blah blah ... at what point can we realistically expect First Sales of Matanda Gas???
No doubt about it - we are running - but without ANY progress ... financially!
Hi 3card ... YES - they did ... and it was me, but alas someone thought it best to Report my post - and to have it Removed ... too many worrying 'Home Truths'? I'll ''re-word'' it and re-post later on - and dig out more Research into this. Paul Biya - LOVES - dams - (see Internet) - never, NEVER, any mention of GAS - ever! The Chinese are indeed investing 'squillions' of Dollars in Cameroonian - DAMS. Almost as much as Victoria Oil and Gas invested in West Medvezhye - Lol - (not).
Cameroon signed a $1 billion framework agreement with French energy giant Electricite de France (EDF) to build a hydroelectric dam at Nachtigal Falls, an official source told Agence de Presse Africaine news agency Thursday. Construction of the 420-megawatt plant is slated to begin by the middle of 2016, while commissioning should start mid-2021....................its takes 5 years plus.....so i would not worry
I think somebody mentioned the other day about how the Chinese are investing huge amounts in building dams in Cameroon for hydro electric power. We should not underestimate the effect of this on our SP. Someone mentioned I think a total demand of 3000 megawatts so overall, our target 40m/scuffs isn't going to make a huge dent in that. We really need to get our skates on with this project before we end up becoming irrelevant and getting left behind. Still positive but if there is no serious uplift in SP by this time next year, i'm thinking I will cash in.
