Sorry again, Bampster. Allow me:

colon's mega posts may have obscured my reply to you at 11.12 today.You will get my point that now the Irish Courts are involved Brian M would be risking everything if all is not true.The info in the RNSs since ADS became corporate advisors will be checked off by them.EX-director Harwood still has the max USOP holding in his heavily FSA-regulated fund.The sp plumetted on a poorly-worded(certainly not hyped) RNS and the fact that we are on a micky mouse exchange that appears to be easily manipulated.None of this will matter when a major wants to buy the proven reserves.Until then the sp will fluctuate and be volatile.
There is a lot of money at stake and people will behave accordingly,hence the unprecedented attempts by faceless people to bring the price down with 24/7 deramping .I had to wait through months of Plus suspension, so will wait for takeover now.

We have oil. Lots of it.

Previously we had "potential" oil bearing zones, now we have a confirmed discovery with "producing zones" containing at least 150 ft of medium crude oil. See pic below:

Thanks to Zedd for that one.

Reasons to invest
10 Dec '12
Thanks again, Ocean :O)

*We are only part way through our workover of EB1;

*BM and the team were confident enough to pump more company funds in to WO Part 2;

*We didn't P&A whilst we had the chance and move straight on to the fully funded EB2;

*We are getting a major contractor and flow specialists involved to help us crack mother natures puzzle there;

*RRV in particular and oil fields in general have varying levels of kerogen and wax, it comes hand in hand with oil E&P, and each situation is slightly different to the next;

*We tried to save money with RP, if it had worked BM would have been twice the hero, it didn't work in 60 days, so we live and learn and get it more right on WO Part 2 & EB2, we are all in this together;

* We have FGA preparing a non-wildcatting CPR from the extra data collected between times so far and the final EB1 results.

*There are ways and means to invoke flow if needed, to stimulate certain zones if needed, to manage most extraction difficulties. They come at a cost but there's slack for that in the math.

*This new crew will most likely want to extract all of the old tubing, clean out the bore hole, fit new tubing and start afresh with a carefully rehearsed strategy which will be tweaked as they go to suit.

*Yes the BoD is under staffed and BM is over worked imo but that will have to change at some point very soon imo.

"An Irish oil exploration company has secured court orders aimed at identifying people who allegedly posted defamatory material about it on internet message boards with a view to suing them following a "catastrophic" fall of £132 million in its market value in recent weeks."

The Potential here
10 Dec '12
is MASSIVE. If it is assumed they can make this beauty flow (it's an easy work around per BM) and the updated CPR uprates the Recoverable Oil to, say, 100mmbl (we have lots of oil per BM), then the SP will sky rocket imo.
Assume a T/O price of $20/bl ($25 - $40 per BM) that equates to £12.50/bl or £27.77 per share assuming 45m shares in issue after a bit of dilution for the Bod and Treasury shares.
The SP is currently sat around the £1.30 mark so a multiple on todays price by a factor of 21+. And that's only based upon the (hoped for) recoverable from one quarter of our total leased area. HAPPY DAYS INDEED!!!!
Many thanks to Bamster & Colon (and also Myteron & Investor Prime) for some great posting. Concentrate on the facts everyone and dont be distracted by the innane negativity peddled by those with no life but selfish agendas who want to do nothing other than damage your investment imo.
Onwards and upwards please Mr.McD.

This is becoming quite a lottery to see whose posts have been consigned to the scrap heap. I don't think I've ever written a controversial post in my history here but note that most of my entries from yesterday have disappeared...and I was quite pleased with one of them ha ha. Now all those who didn't get to read my wise and thought-provoking comments will have lost out forever....how sad is that??? (just to clarify...I am only teasing admin..)

No news today then?

Ah well....we'd all better buckle down to our day jobs 'cos it don't look like we're gonna 'sail up the avenue' anytime soon. (Easter Parade).

This is our first well and we have only begun to understand its potential.
The work-over allows you to perforate directly into the zones. It gives much greater certainty. That is why we can now talk about "productive zones".
We are confident about the estimated oil volume numbers.
The wax is an obstruction forming at the well because of formation clogging up. Local opening of the pores close to the perforations is all that's required.
We believe advanced techniques offer a very high chance of success, but they need thinking through and require some specialist equipment and personnel. The potential of the productive zones is very large.
WE HIT OIL. WE HAVE LOTS OF OIL. WE HAVE PRODUCER ZONES.
We remain committed to drilling at least two wells and are still funded for those and the work-over programme. We have controlled expenditure extremely well and had contingencies built into our budgets. We will obviously keep the situation under continuous review.
The broadcast talks about possible large oil accumulations in Nevada. Our results are confirming that.
http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/61003/view-top-us-oil-and-gas

From the Proactive interview:
We’ve paused the programme to analyse information of what we have.
A total of 30 days were spent as part of various preparations. 30 zones needed to be tested individually and a zone a day was tested.
Top down test in all zones that we could test.
2 Zones that amount to a MINIMUM column of 150 feet.
Only part of the programme has been complete.
Next part of programme is to complete the flow testing process. We know that one of the zones has paraffin – easy work around.
Probably 6 -7 methodologies that can be used to clear the route and allow the oil to flow.
Gross pay zone is 380 feet with 150 ft or more of oil columns – the more part of it is subject to further testing.
The testing will resume in Nov or early Dec or at the latest January.
Other 26 zones are described as tight zones – doesn’t mean they don’t contain oil just that water flows better than oil.
There are funds in place to complete Eblana 1.The company will then assess funds for Eblana 2.
The assessment of alternative methods will be complete by end of week (i.e. the 18th / 19th Nov 2012).
Then talk to a very very large company bring them in to complete work over programme and depending on their rig availability.
The company will aim to complete the testing process in probably a very, very, efficient timeframe.

an initial low flow rate through the tubing to the surface WAS achieved BUT was impeded by a high paraffin wax content and kerogene in the formation.(but is ""an easy work around"
• The testing programme did not include potential zones from 3,000 to 4,500 feet.
• Another two potential zones at shallower depths (above 4,500 feet) also remain to be tested.
• Forest Garb & Associates, international petroleum consultants, have been asked to produce an updated CPR.
• we have nevertheless succeeded in confirming our discovery
• We are confident that, with an updated reservoir model and deploying further
techniques, we will succeed in flowing the primary zones we have identified."

• we are happy to CONFIRM two zones that amount to a MINIMUM oil column of 150 feet.
• We are quite excited.
• we HAVE found oil bearing columns in EB1.
• WE HAVEN'T GOT TO THE FLOW TESTING YET.
• The fact is that we didn't even get to the opportunity to clear out the formation, clear the fluids and clear the paraffin and kerogene that blocks it because,don't forget, its been there for millions of years. So its a process that hasn't been finished. ITS FAR FROM A FAILURE.
• The blockage is "an easy work around".
• probably about 6 or 7 methodolgies that can be deployed to clear the route and allow the oil to flow.
• I think the first thing we had to do was identify the pay zones,WHICH WE HAVE.
• The gross pay zone is approx. 380 feet and what we are able to confirm is atleast 150 feet or more is an oil column.
• We are focusing on returning to site this month, November. We don't see any problems with pursuing a November/early December work programme.
• Its also true to say that some of the other 26 zones which we have desribed as "tight zones" doesn't mean that those 26 zones don't contain oil, what it means is the zones are so tight and water is less viscous so flows better than oil.
• We have the funds in place to complete Eblana 1...what we will do is have a look and assess the funds that are still available for atleast the first of the two second wells to follow.
• The assessment of the alternative methods for completing the work-over will be complete by the end of this week.
• What we are then going to do is talk with a VERY VERY LARGE COMPANY to bring them in to complete the work-over programme.

Eblana 1 Operational Update
http://www.investegate.co.uk/u.s-oil-an ... 4512M7494/

• Of the 30 zones tested, twenty six were formation water (or dry & tight zones) with some traces of oil, WHILE TWO ZONES BROUGHT OIL TO THE SURFACE. (From the later video link ""tight zones" doesn't mean that those 26 zones don't contain oil, what it means is the zones are so tight and water is less viscous so flows better than oil").
• two zones with Gross Formation Thickness of 380 ft (min. 150 ft NPZ) with average effective porosity of 19% (total porosity of 22 - 24%) WERE CONFIRMED AS OIL BEARING ZONES.

"have every confidence that we will be able to flow this well" using a "VERY VERY LARGE COMPANY" very shortly.

This is NOT a ramp. A ramp is using lies/false statements/rumours to get an sp to move up to sell into the subsequent rise. All the above is based on FACT, taken from the RNS,iii video and iii Q&A and i am not trying to get the sp up to sell. Its there for all to verify for yourself.

If USOP, using this "VERY VERY LARGE COMPANY" clean out the blockage and "flow" the 150 feet+ of net pay, along with flow from the untested zones at 3,000-4,500 feet and some of the 26 "tight",possibly oil bearing zones, and combined with the incredibly low amount of shares in issue, maximum 5% Nevada royalties and "less than £3 uplift" (BM even said "cents" in one conversation) then USOP still has the potential to be one of the shares of the decade imho.

Anyway, its time for bed. Looking forward to a pretty good few weeks ahead, especially after the "very very large" company is announced with the resumption of the work over programme and possible ADR listing. The excitement is going to build again, especially after BM making it public via that Q&A that "THEY HAVE LOTS OF OIL" !

Good luck all.

PS - Have summarised the key points of the RNS ,iii video interview and iii Q&A.

USOP Q&A
16 NOV 12
http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/61003/vie ... il-and-gas

"WE HAVE LOTS OF OIL"....."WE HAVE LOTS OF OIL"....."WE HAVE LOTS OF OIL"

• From having "potential" oil bearing zones, we have proven productive zones, including a very large one.
• We have every confidence that we will be able to flow this well
• I won't predict a flow rate, but the signs are very good indeed.
• We have a confirmed discovery, and it looks large
• The potential of the productive zones is very large.
• We know there is a water drive system here, and that was one of the important plus factors in this area.
• Water is only a problem if there is no oil. We have lots of oil.
• We have done remarkably well to confirm large oil-producing zones on our first drill. This is the first discovery in Nevada for decades.
• We remain committed to drilling at least two wells and are still funded for those and the work-over programme.
• Why did the company upload the US news video clip onto its website, despite knowing that the info was not accurate, as proven in Thursday's RNS that gives the timescales of the testing process?
"The broadcast talks about possible large oil accumulations in Nevada. Our results are confirming that. So we don't see a problem there."
• The priority at the time was to focus on drilling and tes

Repost from The Mysteron - thanks
10 Dec '12
"Like Investor Prime, i am also now more confident than ever, far more.

After that badly worded/misunderstood (understatement of the year!) RNS, the subsequent iii video interview & Q&A (MANY THANKS TO YOU III!), it is now 100% crustal clear,to me, that we DO have oil..."AND LOTS OF IT".

Even in the RNS they made it clear that they DID confirm an oil DISCOVERY and now have a MINIMUM of 150 feet of Net Pay which was blocked and an "easy work around". They also pointed out that not only did they "not include potential zones from 3,000 to 4,500 feet" but that some of the 26 other zones were "tighht zones" meaning that they could still contain oil.

They have now CONFIRMED an oil discovery containing a MINIMUM of 150 feet Net Pay...and "IT LOOKS LARGE". So "LARGE" they go on to emphasise this fact by adding "The potential of the productive zones is VERY LARGE" followed by the biggest hint of the lot "WE HAVE LOTS OF OIL". Even better is that they go on to say "We have every confidence that we will be able to flow this well" using a "very very large company" in Nov/early December.

The fact they they also found alot of water is actually GOOD news in as much as they point out "We know there is a water drive system here, and that was one of the important plus factors in this area.". This means that it will be pretty cheap to extract with this water drive system already in place.

Considering that USOP were £4-£5 (with only 41m shares in issue) on the HOPE of a discovery, there is now absolutely no reason whatsoever that USOP couldn't re-visit that sp range again during the work over programme as they have now CONFIRMED a MINIMUM Net Pay of 150 feet, still have zones from 3,000 to 4,500 feet untested and some of the other 26 "tight" zones that may well contain oil and add further to the flow rate. Add to this that they are about to get this "VERY LARGE"/"LOTS OF OIL" out of the ground, via an "EASY WORK AROUND" using a "VERY VERY LARGE COMPANY" by the end of Nov/early December and are also making an ADR listing in the USA a priority along with a new Forest Garb CPR, then £4-£5 is easily achievable again imho.

Lets not forget the importance of STILL having only 41m shares in issue. This is an astonishing feat in itself. At £1 this is a ridiculously low £41m for a company that has just confirmed that they are about to get "VERY LARGE"/"LOTS OF OIL" out of the ground, via an "EASY WORK AROUND" using a "VERY VERY LARGE COMPANY" very shortly. Even at £2 the mkt cap will still be a paltry £82m. At £4 its still only a £164m mkt cap. It got there on "hope" only before, but now they HAVE 150 feet MINIMUM of Net Pay confirmed containing "lots of oil" in which they
