This is true.

It'a hard to believe the BOD and a highly reputable company would stick a lot of money in to Co, as a gamble on the fortunes of a 3rd company.

I suspect there's a plan. The question is whether it's a good one. I have little faith in this BOD, but we'll just have to see. Obviously, they're aware of things we're not privy to.

If it comes good it'll be spectacular ...if not, then you know how the story ends.

"Nobody knows" (Blondeamon) - except insiders, who still seem to have a lot of faith in the company. Let's hope they're not all deluded!

I wouldn't count any positives due to Microlise happening. They are here because they bought a manufacturer on the cheap and will get their devices on a nice discount. They are not here to fix the mess that TRAK is.

If TRAK gets its shit together they'll make good money, if not in the few years till it goes bust they will get their devices on the cheap and much faster. If it ever goes bust they'll make an offer for pocket change to buy the factory and they'll be all the happier.

The only way out of this mess for me is if the AA goes live with the Genie as a major breakdown package and it catches up with tens of 1000s of devices. That would be really nice but it hasn't happened yet and it doesn't look good.

The Austria road club OAMTC was also supposed to go live in February and it's April now.

Perhaps something went wrong or perhaps road clubs with their ancient legacy systems take longer to ship a new product.

Nobody knows, which is why the market has figured out 20p is about right for this mess.

The fact that Microlise are now on board may bring about an improvement in the quality of announcements. We'll soon see.

This BOD is reluctant to announce much.
It's been this way since I can remember (been here since 2013).
If they have secured any new contracts (and it's a big IF), they will probably be a footnote in the TU.
Even when they do announce contracts they do so in such a vague manner that it tends to have little impact on the share price.

It is the numbers that will do the talking in this TU, not contracts.

We could still get an RNS in the meantime if huge contracts are landed by the new sales team. Pigs might fly...

03/04/19 AA results note that the smart breakdown has had a good reception since Jan.... Results seem to indicate this is the start of a significant B2B investment where Trakm8 seen as an integral part of the future offer...

Since the referendum parliament has obviously spent a huge amount of time discussing you know what. I can't help thinking once it settling down the government will have to start looking at passing laws for certain categories of vehicles and drivers to be fitted with trackers and monitoring devices. Public transport (buses) and those of a certain age would be possible starting point. Could be wrong but I'm holding.

Inevitable SP drift in the absence of news. It's a vicious circle really, the longer we wait the more the SP drifts down, the more it drifts down the longer it seems to be taking.

Company seems to have everything: best-in-class products, a strong partner in Microlise, heavily invested management (including £0.7m injection just a few months ago), no cash flow concerns for the time being, enhanced focus on sales and marketing.

So it wouldn't take much for the recent drop to be reversed. All we need is something concrete.

My guess is that they'll delay the next trading update until they have some real progress to report.

More patience needed unfortunately.

Sadly AIM Market is more akin to gambling than investing, but stocks do frequently go through rollercoaster rides in their pricing. Is there a future for Trak products ... quite possibly. I've lost money over the past 12mths but have averaged down and hope to see this recover. Management are invested and when all is said and done the options are basically saying "double the share price back to 50p and you'll each get a 50k bonus" to the handful of senior guys.
I can live with that ... but they certainly need to get value from the enlarged Salesforce ... they need to generate new orders to cover the overheads. A large fleet order or two could transform the bottom line.
3m profit on 30m Sales is not at all inconceivable and suddenly the Market Cap looks ridiculous.
12-24mth downside 5p ; upside 100p and I'd say that's about an even money bet ?

Four £20k "sells" today is clearly rubbish. These are just "bed and ISA" transactions.

I wonder what would happen to the options if the company were in the meantime taken over by, eg, Microlise.

The options are unlikely to be converted into Microlise options because Microlise is not quoted.

Maybe there would be an early payout of some kind. We really should be told what these terms are, in view of the potentially material effect on shareholders.

For now though, all eyes will be on the trading update and any news of contract wins. Although the historical numbers will be uninspiring to say the least, this has already been priced in theoretically, so the SP should not take another knock.

Reissue of options grates, but at least they were issued at a 20% premium to current SP, cannot be exercised unless the SP exceeds 50p, and the reissue is obviously approved by major (20%) shareholder, Microlise.

I accept that management need to be motivated, but an option exercise price of say 50p would have been more reasonable in my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. The full year this year will not be good on any level.

But on the plus side it will provide a good year on year metric.

I do think we will get an update before easter. It is a very competitive market place but my logic mircolise have seen something they want.

Really need to see some positive news, volumes thin so i dont think it would take much to move upwards. On a personal level i like tge prime product they just need to sign people up in the '0000s. See if that new salesforce can do the business.

We will know one way or other by sept.

The company is a disaster.

Only reason I’m still here is because I’m so far underwater it no longer makes much difference what happens.

I’ve never seen an AIM company recover from this kind of position. I’m just reducing my average at each opportunity in the hope I can break even on a near term spike.

Trakm8 Prime has been a HUGE flop so far, no one bought it. Which is why they slashed the prices.

Money were always in Fleet contracts and Automotive like Car Genie. I think they are struggling very hard right now to sell any new devices and any light in the tunnel could be from the AA. But their new breakdown package is not out yet, end of March most likely so the current year will be another disaster.

WTF is this RNS today about? Those losers lost 90% of the share price value in the last 3 years and they get re-issued options at lower prices?

NO, you should get nothing because you failed.

I'm emailing John Watkins about this and the rest of the board.

"The days tick by with not much happening."

Yes - would have expected a contract announcement or two by now, personally.

Hey ho ..here's hoping.
