the Rig contract is this end of May or June Mr Perkins and will we have any news before the EGM for Aminex in your opinion Mr Perkins, Friday was a bad milestone day for me invested in Solo under the key 3p mark and it need to get back above again next or I fear the worse really for the share, although endless averaging down/top ups there only so far a investor can go, can`t wait to the EGM to give him a piece of my mind, however things could recover before then !!!

Quite right Dub. They do invariably low ball the figures. Can't possibly for the life of me imagine why LOL. Plenty of upside, I and history are 100% with you on that one. I wonder what the 12 fold increase will turn into. mmm.

Dub; you say "I personally expect this Gas and hopefully Petroleum Basin to significantly deliver over and above what the independent consultants have indicated to date. The use of the words (in a high quality cretaceous sandstone reservoirs) give me confidence."

Do you not think that the "independent consultants" - the Experts" would not also be aware of this and made their assessments based on it? How and why are you second guessing their assessments? I think they would know what a "high quality cretaceous reservoir" would look like and be likely to yield; don't you?!

Hi Dub, there is no doubt about the quality and size of the find to date. The next drill target looks to be significantly bigger and is targeting a thicker part of the Cretaceous sandstone as well as a deeper Jurassic Oil target, west and updip from NT-2

Need the operator to complete their farmout with the Omani's and the rig contract tendor is due to complete by the end of next month.

Hi cperkin , The following extract is taken from RNS 7459M.
"Advancing the Ntorya appraisal and its commercialisation is now a key objective for Solo and we are pleased that rig mobilisation is now underway. The discovery of gas in high quality Cretaceous sandstone reservoirs in the onshore portion of the Ruvuma Basin represents very significant value".

Hi Dubhlinn, I took the numbers from RNS 8540D where I think they are using a 1:6 ratio

http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=SOLO&ArticleCode=ojddj8ck&ArticleHeadline=Significant_Resource_Upgrade_at_Ntorya_Tanzania

"The independent verification of our net interest equivalent to over 30 mmboe underlines the significant value of Ntorya within our portfolio. When taken with the results of the io consulting commercial feasibility study, we are now confident that Ntorya can be economically produced with limited further major capital expenditure".

1/2 A TCF of Gas
Fri 14:49
Hello cperkin,
In your earlier post at 06:36 you said 1/2 a TCF of Gas is equal to 30 million barrels of oil.
From my research 1 TCF of Gas is equal to 170 Million of oil.
Solo's 25 percentage equates to 1/2 TCF = 85 Million barrels of oil.
Recevery factors have to be taken into account re the above.
Some Natural Gas Fields have a recovery factor as high as 80 percent.

I don't think he would spend much on further investments.

He is a sizeable shareholder himself and at his age probably has an eye on retirement and should I say winding down his workload and taking it easy so years more waiting for a return may not be in his best interests.
