SER followers, especially kk-cj-JAS-Nip. I would like to hear their up to date views. Also did CC get the $5k for the Kansas assets in Jan? Hope many of you took your losses in SER and invested in CEB? I did pose this suggestion when SER were about.0012. But of course many rubbished the suggestion including BMD who wrote a nasty blog piece about CEB last July and who scared off SER shareholders selling out of SER (at a big loss) and possibly buying CEB.
Below is the statement from Chris Oil regarding the requisition.
Take note of this bit if you are thinking of voting: "Clear away any legal threat in one easy way and obtain the assets that should have been settled within a month under Clem Chambers leadership, including other new assets in other parts of the world. This will lead to significant shareholder value instead of ongoing failure.”
Can you remember the abuse that was thrown at Malcy for warning what would happen if the threatened requisition was successful? Malcy said it would be like turkeys voting for Christmas. He was ferociously attacked by the requisitioners and their supporters. What a bunch of muppets. Still, some investors should get some cash back.
... but has it occurred to anyone else that maybe JE was in collusion with the BOD to bring about the downfall of the company. Could it be possible that everyone was shorting the SP. Let's face it the threat of the court case did have a significant effect on the direction of the company and the overall SP. I am not usually a conspiracy theorist but nothing would surprise me about the stock market any more having been through this, WRN, AFR, NEW, etc.
...Team Clem got involved in my opinion is so he and his cronies could mop up any remaining money that is left in the company. It will all come out as expenses or something similar, but rest assured there will not be a penny left and there will be a simple note left on the website saying, "despite our best efforts we have been unable to sell our assets and no longer have any cash available so we have folded the company". End of .............but by the way we have another company if you want to invest - yeh right fookoff
Some good posts From jonjo & OBB but as regards the contribution from JAS123456 it is just laughable. He cannot accept that SER will never be quoted on AIM again. Cannot accept that BMD Hopkins did NOTHING for SER shareholders. He looked after himself and remember that £50k
JAS is living in dreamland, and is the owner of a worthless piece of paper. Dream on JAS.
Unfortunately the "justice clock" on AIM ran out of battery a long time ago. In the US we can be pretty confident that Rob Terry et al would be in the dock - wet or dry. Here, nothing: just start again with another company.
And that is not to mention the whole raft of Chinese companies that were clearly encouraged to list, pay their fees, and then had carte blanche to use the "prestige" of a London listing to steal money on the back of false prospectuses and imaginary trading updates.
And with people like JAS123456 around, how easy it seems to be. The latest SER communication said quite clearly that (a) SER had less in its bank account than a moderate size corner shop and (b) that the only significant "asset" it had was a mailing list of shareholders that could be approached to put more money into the company's latest madcap venture. And yet here is one of them saying he is expecting SER to relist in a few months, which must mean he is prepared to throw good money after bad (or at least assumes that a whole load of others are mugs).
After all the bluster that came out of the AGM there is now a deafening silence from Team Clem's camp. The witch hunt for scapegoats seems to have faded away but the calamitous position as a private company with little money remains the same. I was right when I said the requisitioners didn’t have a Nomad and I was right again when I said they had no plan. What I didn’t foresee was for the incumbent BoD to roll over without giving the majority of shareholders a say in the matter. So who is ultimately responsible for the demise of this company? Here is a short list of possible candidates:
(1) The old board (TM, KM and JR) for not giving shareholders a chance to vote against the requisition (2) The new board (CC and MH) for going ahead with the requisition without a Nomad (3) The requisitioners (DL and CO) for going ahead with the requisition without a Nomad (4) The Nomad (Allenby) for not doing proper due diligence on DL before he became a director of SER (5) Jim Ellerton for bringing a vexatious claim against SER
