At the moment the registrar's for NGP are Capita. I have enquired as to what is happening and the information they are getting is about the same as to what has already been released.
They could issue paper shares in the new company, electronic shares or pay us all off.

Transaction Update and Cancellation

"Assuming that the Gazi - 1 well is successful, and following review by an independent competent person (which is expected to take a further month once target depth is reached), the Company will seek to complete the Acquisitions."..."As noted above the Board will continue to work towards completing the Acquisitions and intends to seek a readmission to AIM. The documents and agreements required for readmission of the Company's shares will be broadly similar to those which have been drafted for the reverse takeover and therefore additional costs associated with the readmission are expected to be limited."

CIRCLE Oil founder and petrolhead John McKeon is waxing up a stunning supercar for this year's Cannonball Run.

McKeon has added the Ferrari FF (price tag €300,000) -- the very latest offering from the iconic Italian carmaker -- to his car collection.

Described by CNN Money as being "like a rolling piece of industrial art", it has a soft Italian leather interior, a 660 horsepower 12 cylinder engine and reaches a vroomy 208 miles an hour. A big four-wheel drive four-seater, it's the most powerful car Ferrari has ever built.

Oil and gold exploration tycoon McKeon has lovingly built up a collection of Ferraris over years. "People will think I'm some flash sod -- but I'm not. I've been doing this for a long time," he said. "It's my one pleasure. And this is a great charitable event."

Newry businessman Paul McKenna of MAC Construction is tuning up one of his selection of fine motors -- a bright yellow €200,000 Ferrari F450 for the event.

Recession be damned, 150 luxury sports cars are signed up for the across-Ireland tour, including a Porche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, a Ferrari 430 Spider, a Bentley Continental and an Aston Martin, a few Lamborghinis, and a McLaren.

There are plenty of local owners but there are also 40 or so cars from overseas, plus one New York hedge fund manager who is said to be shipping over something very high end for the event.

The Cannonball event, sponsored by supercar specialist Beshoff's Motors, roars out of Dublin on September 14. It's the annual 1,000km road trip around Ireland for supercar enthusiasts.

Well perhaps the long wait.......it seams like more than a year, (I cannot remember when they went into suspension....I know I enquired last Christmas as it had been some time, even back then).............will have been worth it...hopefully soon we will find out at what level....
The Board recognises that the period of suspension, whilst this complex transaction is concluded, has deprived shareholders of their ability to trade in Company's shares. However, we believe that the Acquisitions, if concluded, will deliver considerable value."

I don't know but I would imagine the number of shares will be restructured. The only info I've found on this is a post on another site's bulletin boards from someone called "repanco" saying:-

"repanco 13:48:59 10/07/2012
Some good news at last. 100% of 4 licences to be acquired from Oman for £1million New Company to be called Alpay Energy Plc Fatih Alpay will own 54%, existing shareholders 20.70% and new money would have 24.9% Roadshows are current, ending on Friday. Book building to raise $30million from July 21st - July 27th. Admission on AIM 23rd August!"

Where did you hear about Alpay? Do you have a link to your info?

Niche Group, an oil and gas focused investment company, has reported that two of its part-owned wells in the Hatay region in the Iskenderun Basin, onshore south east Turkey, have encounted gas shows, but neither is likely to prove commercially vaible. Well Ciftlik-1 was tested at three invtervals, but no gas flowed to the surface, indicating reservoir quality sandstones were not developed at this location. Well Kastal-1 encountered 'significant' gas shows, but was suspended for well-control reasons. The firm said it is likely the well will be abandoned.

update
15 Mar '12
I spoke to them on the phone about 3 weeks ago. Was told way more than I could possibly retain about what was going on. Long and short of it was that they should have been a couple of weeks away from getting the merger/reverse takeover all sorted (although admitted they'd thought they were only a couple of weeks away several times before only to encounter further delays and complications) but that re-listing on AIM would probably be delayed for some time after that. However I see some strange transactions on 13th Feb and that Bid and Ask prices are now being shown on here and a value given for my shares in my Portfolio (only on here not at my broker's site) so whether any of that indicates progress I'm not sure.

anyone know an email address for them? The RNS said another announcement would follow shortly - that was about 5 weeks ago now. Seems to me a gentle prod would be in order

Thank goodness it didn't say "longly"!
