They would most probably have a price list that is monetary denominated....in the currency of which ever country you are purchasing said cafe latte
Cash or you could use your credit/debit card for payment.
Nothing complex about the transaction...:-)

Yellow Craig, they'd probably tell you:

"this is a coffee shop, don't be a fool by comparing an IOC to your local Starbucks."

Ignorance excused.

But if you like Starbucks coffee I guess there's little hope anyway...

Excuse my ignorance but what would happen if I walk into Starbucks and order a cafe latte...... Would the barista expect me to pay for said coffee or could I offer something else in exchange you know a sort of bartering system. Would appreciate it if anyone could shed any light on this complex transaction.

Cream, jam or not it's still an exceedingly good cake. Or at least fair to middling :)

RE: T/O

A Big boy will always see true value looking forward, they will know what they can average out over the next 30 year's and behond, what we should ask is if it were dead game why would said companies keep buying $$$$$$$$ nothing more nothing less.on land amidst its problems lifting and exporting costs are phenomenally low not to mention the amount of juice and gas. We look forward to the future

Lots of mulling over a T/O and the reality is we sit at 15p with oil in the low $30's. How are we going to achieve true value whatever that is ?
Or is 15p true value........i effing hope not !!

Dno Q&A courtesy. Of b bay on iii
Today 13:27
Towards the end of his Q&A session, and in reply to a Q from Teodor Nilsen regarding how quickly cash from the outstanding receivables might be paid, the Chairman said something I found quite interesting:

"Of course the KRG in addition to a cash recovery of all these receivables is in a position to contribute other assets perhaps they have as you know interest in all the fields. It’s possible that there would be a trade or discussion that part of the receivable will be offset by other kinds of assets, that’s a discussion that can be had, that would be appropriate time as well."

The transcript is now online - you should read it.

Very interesting, what does it mean? I have no bloody idea!

FC, last deal, its a lot more acerage , but not the OIP GKP as, well not as yet and its multiple blocks, first oil could be around 2017/2018..As i say not like for like with GKP, but they kenya have to build pipelines and they wil link to Uganda. I am sure if AOI Chairman can work a fdeal like this, and he is also in Atrush with Marathon, Taqa, and Maersk ARE IN SARASANG WITH Hillwood and Marathon there is some working relationships in place.

WORTH AREAD AND WORTH STUDYING TULLOW INVOLMENT, AS THEY HAVE HEDGED OIL PRODUCTION TO AROUND $79.00 PB THIS YEAR FOR 19000 BOPD.

And that pre determined price likely to be 250-350p range imo

Wont be hard for a major to clear/restrcuture gkp debt.

Just look on what they spent in alaska searching before finally giving up......

Expect JF has already had some sound him out in the. 100-200p range but they are waiting on oil to tick up before the formal process kicks off.

Everyone, including mgmt saying gkp is set to be sold. The oil price means price likely to be less than half of the once rumoured 450p+ but doesnt make gkp any less attractive in the long term.

Genl also attractive but cant see their shareholders agreeing a specualtive bid, too much cash in hand and potential in 5 years time...

Going to be an interesting H1
