yaardvark, he was also claiming that BMR didn't have correct ownership or mining rights over Kabwe. Yet he just bought back in lol - the guy makes up some serious BS stories.

28th of Feb might be the deadline but it doesn't mean it has to be done on that date. Like Andy said it's likely to happen before then and I hope it does.

Utter BS - TBTT, see belo

Vanadium Recovery Factors and Upgrading to Vanadium Pentoxide
The Board is pleased to report that the metallurgical test work to date has shown that no modifications should be required to the acid brine leach section at the Kabwe plant to recover the V from tailings and take it into solution as a by-product. Selective recovery of the V in solution has been successfully achieved during the Zinc re-leach phase, requiring only minimal changes to the current flowsheet design.

Preliminary test work results suggest an overall V(2) O(5) recovery factor of approximately 65% (discounted 5% from actual test work results). Test work continues to optimise the V(2) O(5) recovery factor, to establish final product quality and the design of the process circuit to produce V(2) O(5.) This will enable CAPEX and OPEX costs to be established, of which the former will be at an additional construction cost to the Company. An announcement will be made as soon as practicable concerning this additional cost, although at this stage the Company does not believe that it will be substantial. New technology will not be required for the production of V(2) O(5) .

TBTT- please stop Coming up with these random/imagination/dream based stories, let’s focus on what we know and take it from there please

It is. I’m just guessing after listening to the interview with Leon that it’s going to be done well before that date. I also think that Jubilee getting such a big stake in Bmr stops any sort of deal with ACI.

I also remember that you were posting on this board last year saying your so called "specialist" friend had told you the extraction techniques used by BMR didn't work. That's funny because Leon Coetzer has stated in the recent podcast that they have tested the Zinc, Lead, and Vanadium and they were able to recover these metals, so they have proven that the method works.
