Thanks for the link, though as someone who holds a handful of PMs, not too cheery in parts. ;-)
$3300/tonne zinc was the kind of price I was spouting on about a few years back when I was a young dreamer. I wonder if they have factored in China perhaps having a hard landing and probably the USD strengthening on the back of that. Also, as one of the comments after the article reminds us, Zambia levied a tax on copper production which killed off the industry there. Could they refrain from doing the same for zinc if it rose 50% or 100%?
Thinking positively, I would imagine profit margins would treble or quadruple should zinc prices manage to hit those levels.
I dont want to bring caterpillars back into this but, sigh, it would be nice to find ourselves on a green branch just for a change....
are on sale. The fans just broke put another 50p in the meter. Dogs ran outside with a juicy bone. Local chief has just come in 'I'll do the same ol same ol, you speak Jive?'. Do you want mushy peas with that?
I have no idea what we are talking about anymore. If you do please mail me on mrdphinchleyathotmail.co.uk
I hope you don't go looking for your shirt in the kitchen the last thing we need is the health and safety inspectors catching you topless wondering around the kitchen no doubt covered in the lead sponge cream filling, might cause a delay!
