I missed this until this morning, reposted from yesterday for others who may have missed....
Calling BMR...
Hello all, I tried the office again today and I got through to Jeremy Hawke. We chatted for a good 15 minutes and he seems like a really nice guy. We spoke about several subjects which I have highlighted below. ACI: I asked how confident he is about receiving funds, and do we have a backup plan in place if ACI doesn’t come through. He said that he is confident that they will come up with the money soon, and that they do have plans in place if ACI let us down. It seems that ACI were let down by their trade funders and that’s why they are late paying. He is hoping we will receive more than the $900k first tranche. Van JORC / EPB: I asked about delays with the EPB and JORC. It sounds like the consultancy that is dealing with this has caused some delays, and BMR have been trying to save cash so this may have added to delays also. JH tells me that the EPB will be submitted shortly and the JORC is work in progress. One important point is that we can’t start production until we have the EPB submitted and approved by ZEMA. Star Zinc: Asked about SZ and he tells me that it is a top priority and they are looking to acquire this ASAP. It’s not been forgotten about! WKS: They have been in recent discussion with ZEMA and it sounds like they aren’t happy with us using it for concrete blocks. He said they might have come up with another alternative solution but it will take some time before anything is resolved. I said I suppose it’s not that important at the moment but it would have been nice if we could have started selling it already, he agreed with this and said it would have given us a steady revenue stream. JH said that the important thing at the moment is to get the plant up and running and it will happen. He told me to keep in touch and not to lose the faith. All in all I am feeling a little more at ease now. Just a case of being patient but it sounds like we are close to resolving the funding one way or another. GL to us all!

Best wishes for October. A new chapter in your life.

This time next year you may have more of a decent savings pot, if you can keep hold of your shares.

Good luck 3card.

Support works both ways
Tue 21:26
We can all be positive, and in turn drive sentiment, when the company starts communicating with us effectively.

The reason for the fall in the SP rests solely with BMR and not with people expressing themselves on a bulletin board, none of us have that kind of power.

Our opinions differ then. I don't believe we should have to chase the Company to find out what is going on. No update on the vanadium situation re the proposed JORC and EPB, even whether the testing was completed in February or not, is frankly pretty rubbish Nube.

Potential investors need continuous newsflow and no information voids within the RNS releases. They do not think to invest based on news gaps and the notion that they may inevitably have to phone the Company to be given an idea of what is currently the state of play.

I wouldn't want anyone to be taken off guard by this share, so if I feel the Company is a poor performer in the way that it communicates with its shareholders, then I will say so.

It is about time our support, and it is a support for many years in some cases, was appreciated, and reciprocated by Alex and co, in terms of keeping us well informed. Better informed at the very least. We have Information gaps spanning several months on the progress or otherwise in some of our main areas.

Updating us really is not too much to ask.

Anyway, you are free to carry on with your particular crusade, but in my opinion, not highlighting both the good and the bad isn't being terribly honest.

Enjoy your evening.

Sentiment

Sentiment shouldn't be manufactured by phone calls and relayed messages.

Glad you made a call BringMyReward, Jeremy is a decent bloke it seems to me in my few interactions with him at AGM and via emails and I genuinely believe he is key in making the project work at its most efficient when we finally get to production.

Not so happy about the EPB for V still not being submitted yet. I feel this failure to get the process started with ZEMA could prove to be further toothache for shareholders at a later date if not sorted asap.

WKS from Interim Results
Tue 20:17
24th March 2016:

Waelz Kiln **** ("WKS")

We believe that the WKS, comprising approximately 1.1 million tonnes, could be applied in the construction of building blocks and road construction. The Company has manufactured and tested a batch of concrete blocks, using an 80:20 ratio of WKS to building sand, for which there was no evidence of leaching of lead or zinc.

I'm actually retiring from my little part time job in October. Was hoping that the savings pot would be considerably larger by then courtesy of BMR and VOG. HEYHO, just have to pull the belt in a bit.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the lead content wasn't that bad. Also once the WKS is cleared, we own the land that it is on. This could be developed or sold on.
