NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES
In conformity with the Transparency Directive The Vitec Group plc (Vitec) is required to announce to the market the receipt of notifications of major interests in shares.
Vitec received the attached notice in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules that Harris Associates L.P. has a notifiable interest in 4,346,215 ordinary shares of 20p each in Vitec, being 9.99% of the issued ordinary share capital of Vitec. No percentage thresholds have been crossed and the announcement is being made due to a change in the breakdown of voting rights at Harris L.P.

Vitec is an international Group principally serving customers in the broadcast, photographic and military, aerospace and government (MAG) markets. Listed on the London Stock Exchange with 2011 revenue of £351.0 million, Vitec is based on strong, well known, premium brands on which its customers worldwide rely.
