On 21 May 2012, the Directors and PDMRs below received Ordinary shares of 5p each in Tesco PLC upon their release at the end of the three-year holding period from the Tesco Executive Incentive Plan and the Tesco Group Bonus Plan. The share price on release was 311.125p per share. With the exception of T Mason, these awards were taxed on award (19 May 2009). Dividend equivalents which have accrued between grant and vesting are taxable on release and a proportion of the shares released have been retained to cover the taxes due. The figures below represent the net number of shares at award plus the gross number of dividend equivalent shares that have since accrued. T Mason's award was taxable on release and a proportion of the shares released have been retained to cover the taxes due. The figure below for T Mason represents the gross number of shares released.
