Board Appointment

Treatt, the manufacturer and supplier of conventional, organic and fair trade ingredients for the flavour, fragrance and cosmetic industries announces that Daemmon Reeve has been appointed as an Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 18^th May 2012.

Daemmon has extensive industry experience and knowledge, having been employed at R.C. Treatt & Co. Limited, the Group's principal operating subsidiary, for 19 years. During that time he gained widespread experience in Technical, Operational and Purchasing disciplines. Daemmon was appointed CEO of Treatt USA in July 2010.

In addition to comprehensive product knowledge, Daemmon is instrumental in formulation of the Group's commercial policy. Commenting on the appointment, Hugo Bovill, Managing Director, said "Daemmon's experience and knowledge of the industry and business generally will be of great benefit to the Board."

Treatt confirms that there is no information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment.
