Appointment of Regional CEO for Asia & Africa

Synergy Health PLC (LSE: SYR), a leading global provider of outsourced sterilisation services to the medical device market and healthcare sector, announces the appointment of Niclas M Ollson as the Regional CEO for Asia & Africa.  In addition, Niclas will also become a member of Synergy Health's Senior Executive Board.  Niclas will join the company on the 1^st of June 2012.

Niclas has worked in the medical device sector in Asia for the last 10 years as President of Getinge China and General Manager for the East Asia region since 2008. Prior to these positions he held various senior roles in Eastern Europe and South East Asia for Getinge Infection Control, and previously for Sanmina-SCI in the electronic outsourcing industry.  Niclas has extensive experience in the infection control arena and in building organizations in emerging markets.  His leadership skills significantly improved Getinge's position in Asia, growing their business year on year into what is now the undisputed market leader in China.
