Publication of Supplementary Prospectus

The following Supplementary Prospectus has been approved by the UK Listing Authority and is available for viewing:

The Supplementary Prospectus dated 11 January 2012 (the "Supplementary Prospectus") supplementing the prospectus (the "Prospectus") dated 1 July 2011 relating to a €4,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme of Severn Trent Plc, Severn Trent Utilities Finance Plc and Severn Trent European Placement S.A. as issuers and Severn Trent Water Limited as guarantor of notes issued under the programme by Severn Trent Utilities Finance Plc and Severn Trent Plc as guarantor of Notes issued by Severn Trent European Placement S.A..

The purpose of the Supplementary Prospectus is to include interim financial information for the six months ended 30 September 2011.
