Newgate Public Relations Hires Jason Nisse

Porta Communications plc is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Newgate Public Relations, the fast growing international communications consultancy, announces that it is appointing Jason Nisse, director of media strategy at Fishburn Hedges, as a director.  Jason joined Fishburn Hedges in September 2007, following a career in journalism and as director of media relations for Barclays plc. In his time at the consultancy he has worked on a wide range of financial services and corporate accounts.

Jason said: "I have really enjoyed my time at FH and have loved working with some wonderful, talented people, but the opportunity to help build a new force in international communications with Newgate is a challenge I can't pass up."

Jason's appointment follows that of Martin Greig who joins Newgate after 11 years as a senior journalist with the BBC Today programme.
