Change of Directorate

Oxford Advanced Surfaces Group plc ("OAS" or the "Company") announces that Managing Director, Mike Eason, has given notice to leave the Company in six months time on 22 August 2011. Mike was previously the Company's Chief Technical Officer and was appointed to the Board of OAS as Managing Director on 1 October 2009.

Mike's technical skills and commercial background have proved valuable in taking the Company forward to a stage where it has achieved independent technical validation of its key products; Onto™ Surface Functionalisation to aid control in printed electronics, Onto™ Cross-Linking Technology to provide a flexible organic thin film transistor array for electronics and VISARC™ Anti-Reflective Coatings for Eyewear.

The Board believes that the Company is now in a strong position to negotiate and secure commercial contracts and is at a stage of development where it is appropriate to recruit a high caliber Chief Executive with international experience.

Michael Bretherton, Chairman of OAS, commented:
