Purchase of Own Securities
On 25 May 2012, the Company purchased for cancellation 220,000 ordinary shares at a price of 316.0p
Following the purchase and cancellation of the above shares 255,904,859 ordinary shares of 5p each will remain in issue. The Monks Investment Trust PLC holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
The above figure (255,904,859) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Monks Investment Trust PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
