Impax Environmental Markets PLC

Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that it has today purchased 645,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 100.88p per share. The highest price paid per share was 100.974p and the lowest price paid per share was 100.5p. These shares will be held in Treasury.

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 324,509,373 ordinary shares. The Company will be holding 33,644,303 of these shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 290,865,070.
