LONDON - The Board of Hirco Plc (AIM: HRCO) today announces that ISS, the leading provider of corporate governance solutions to some of the largest institutional investors in the world, has supported the Board's recommendation in favour of the resolutions being proposed at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on 28 June 2011.
This recommendation from ISS is in addition to the support from Glass Lewis announced recently.
The Board recommends that shareholders vote FOR the resolutions which it believes are in the best interests of all shareholders.
Full details of the resolutions and the Board's recommendation is set out in its Circular dated 3 June 2011.
Shareholders are reminded that the deadline for receipt of proxy votes is 11.30 am (London time) on 26 June 2011.
