Peppa Pig moves to daily slot in US
Entertainment One Ltd. (LSE: ETO), the international entertainment group, is pleased to announce that Peppa Pig has commenced airing seven days a week in the US, at 2.00pm EDT on Nick Jr., following its successful broadcast launch in February.
Darren Throop, CEO of eOne, said:
"Peppa's move to a weekday slot, in addition to the existing weekend broadcast, demonstrates that the show is already becoming a firm favourite in the US. We are very proud that the programme is already ranked in Nick Jr.'s top 10 and are confident, with the strong viewing figures reported, that Peppa Pig will continue to thrive in the US."
