Issue of equity following warrant exercise

EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED Mining" or the "Company"), the Europe-based minerals development and exploration company, announces that it has issued 500,000 ordinary shares of 0.25p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to the exercise of broker warrants due to expire shortly that were issued in connection with the Company's listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange.  Pursuant to the warrant terms, the new Ordinary Shares have been subscribed for at a price of C$0.135 per share, for aggregate subscription monies of C$67,500.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and such admission is expected to become effective on 23 March 2012.

Following completion of the issue of the new shares, EMED Mining will have 860,291,829 Ordinary Shares in issue.

The Ordinary Shares have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "U.S. Securities Act"), or any U.S. state securities laws and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an available exemption from the registration requirements of the U.S. Securities Act and applicable U.S. state securities laws.
