CRANSWICK SCRIP DIVIDEND SCHEME

The interim dividend for the year ended 31^st March 2012, which is payable on 20^th January 2012, has been agreed at 9p per share, the price of a new ordinary share under the scrip dividend alternative has been set at 704p.  This is the average of the Company's middle market closing price for the five consecutive dealing days commencing on the ex-dividend date of 23 November 2011.

Shareholders who hold their shares in certificated form and wish to elect to participate in the scrip dividend scheme may do so either by completing a mandate form (which can be requested by telephoning 0871 664 0300 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras; lines are open 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday - Friday) and returning it to the Company's Registrar at:

Shareholders who hold their shares in CREST and wish to elect to participate must do so by means of CREST procedures.  All elections to participate in the scrip dividend scheme (whether by completing the mandate form or electronically) must be received by the Registrar by no later than 5.00 pm on 20 December 2011.
