Launch of Three New Products

Concurrent Technologies Plc (the "Company"), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products for critical applications in the defence, aerospace, telecommunications, transportation, scientific and industrial markets, is pleased to announce the launch of three new products.

Board Level Security Package

The Board Level Security Package, for use with the Company's latest processor boards, provides a means to enhance the security of equipment and thus prevent tampering or interference to the hardware if the equipment falls into hostile hands and access to sensitive data. The security is implemented on the Company's Single Board Computers using a combination of deeply embedded proprietary hardware, firmware and software countermeasures.

VP 91x/01x processor board

One of the first boards to benefit from the security package is the VP 91x/01x processor board, delivering the highly efficient, cutting edge 3rd generation Intel^® Core™ i7 processor technology to the VME architecture. The VP 91x/01x brings unprecedented performance and power efficiency to defence and aerospace applications while maintaining compatibility with the previous generation product and also offering advanced security packages.

Latest CompactPCI^® processor board - PP 91x/x1x

The PP 91x/x1x is a Single Board Computer (SBC) expanding on the success of the previous generations of CompactPCI^® SBCs, allowing customers to easily migrate to the latest generation of Intel^® Core™ i7 processors while reaping the benefits of significantly improved performance per Watt and extending the lifecycle of already deployed solutions. The 3rd generation Intel^® Core™ i7 processors, based on 22nm process technology, provide increased performance for an equivalent power budget when compared to the 2nd generation Intel^® Core™ i7 processors. This allows the PP 91x/x1x to excel in thermally constrained applications, like those in telecommunications and defence that require high processing performance.
