NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

("PDMR") OR THEIR CONNECTED PERSONS
The Company announces that on 4 July 2012, awards over ordinary shares in the
Company under the Bumi Incentive Plan ("2012 Awards") were granted to Nalin
Rathod, Chief Executive, and Scott Merrillees, Chief Financial Officer, as set
out below:

* These awards were made in the form of a "nil cost" option over ordinary shares of £1 each in Bumi plc at an aggregate exercise price of £1 (the nominal exercise price is required to satisfy Indonesian tax legislation) subject to the achievement of Performance Targets measured from 4 July 2012 to 4 July 2015.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.
