The Company announces that it received a notification on 18 September 2009 from the Trustees of The British Land Share Ownership Plan (the 'Trust') in respect of releases from the Fund Managers Performance Plan ("FMPP") and the Matching Share Plan ("MSP") to Executive Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities of the Company ('PDMR').

FMPP Vesting

On 18 September 2009 the Trust released 207,130 ordinary 25p shares of the Company to participants in the Company's Fund Managers' Performance Plan, pursuant to awards made on 14 July 2006 and 14 August 2008 as shown below:
