Grant of Share Options

Animalcare (AIM: ANCR), the supplier of pharmaceutical and other premium products and services to the veterinary industry, announces that on 2 August 2012, it granted options (the "Share Options") over ordinary shares of 20 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to the following directors:

S M Wildridge    100,000 shares

I D Menneer       60,000 shares

C J Brewster      30,000 shares

These options were granted under the Animalcare Group plc Executive Share Option Scheme.  The Share Options will become exercisable on 1 October 2015 at 130 pence per ordinary share.

Following this grant of options, the directors concerned have the following interests in Ordinary Shares:

S M Wildridge    300,000 shares

I D Menneer       125,000 shares

C J Brewster      60,000 shares

Total number of Ordinary Shares beneficially owned:
