Vesuvius plc (the "Company")

Block Listing Application

 

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for the block listing and admission to listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange of 100,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company.  These shares will be used to acquire any ordinary shares in Cookson Group plc issued to existing optionholders on exercise of their options under the Cookson Executive Share Option Scheme, in accordance with Cookson's Articles.

The shares will rank equally with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.
