Notification of Transaction of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility or Connected Persons

This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).

On 8 January 2013, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (LSE:BRW) received notification that:

1.   Barry Howard, a Director, has today exercised 10,925 options over Ordinary 1 pence shares ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 168p each pursuant to the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme December 2007 grant.

His resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is 212,616 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.0840% of the total issued share capital of the Company (of which 75,730 are nil paid ordinary shares) and the total number of shares over which options are held by him is 187,233.

2.   Matthew Butcher, a PDMR, has today:

a.   paid up nil paid shares totalling 5,420 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 184.5p each pursuant to the Company's Senior Employee Matching Purchase Scheme December 2006 grant. 

and

b.   exercised 4,000 options over Ordinary 1 pence shares  ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 175.25p each pursuant to the Company's Approved Share Option Scheme December 2006 grant.

His resultant holding in Ordinary Shares in the Company is 70,482 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.0279% of the total issued share capital of the Company (of which 11,494 are nil paid ordinary shares) and the total number of shares over which options are held by him is 130,723.
