Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") Interests

Imperial Tobacco Group Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP")

Alison Cooper, Matthew Phillips, Helen Clatworthy, Fernando Dominguez Valdes-Hevia and Walter Prinz (together, "the Directors and PDMRs").

Imperial Tobacco Group PLC was advised on 09 January 2013 that the Trustees of the Company's Employee and Executive Benefit Trust ("the Trust") transferred on 09 January 2013 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company to five participant Directors and PDMRs in the Company's LTIP following the exercise of the options which were granted on 11 November 2012.

These shares were previously contingent rights for each Director and PDMR.
