Directors' Shareholdings

Further to the announcements on 31 January 2011, 18 February 2011 and 13 October 2011 (providing for certain Directors to acquire existing ordinary shares in the Company in a Board approved monthly purchase scheme), Shanta Gold announces that a total of 31,228 ordinary shares were purchased on 14^th August 2012 by certain Directors of the Company.
