Acquisition – 16 August 2004
https://www.investegate.co.uk/victoria-oil---38--gas--vog-/rns/acquisition/200408160700109756B/
In this (the 2nd) RNS from Victoria Oil and Gas – we are told that VOG has ACQUIRED
"a gas and gas condensate project in Russia"
>
Acquisition completed – 23 November 2004
https://www.investegate.co.uk/victoria-oil---38--gas--vog-/rns/acquisition-completed/200411230730015220F/
In this (the 3rd) RNS from Victoria Oil and Gas – we are told that VOG has FINALISED
"the Acquisition of a gas and gas condensate project in Russia"
>
We are told that the cost of this West Medvezhye acquirement would be — $11.000.000.
NB Keep that $11.000.000 in the forefront of your mind.
>
The RNS of 16 August 2004 told Victoria Oil and Gas shareholders that –
a) $4,000,000 is payable immediately
b) The $7,000,000 Balance is payable in October 2004
This would be accomplished by –
a) $1.000.000 paid in cash
b) $3.000.000 paid in shares
>
The RNS of 23 November 2004 told Victoria Oil and Gas shareholders that –
a) The $7,000,000 Balance (payable in October 2004) – had now become an $8.000.000
Balance – (that was actually paid in November 2004).
b) The Cash and Shares payment (to make up the Final Balance payment) had now been
changed to a Final Balance payment of – "a Shares (only) payment"
>
Re' the number of shares to be paid in settlement:the RNS of 23 November 2004 tells us:
"The total purchase price of $11.000.000 was satisfied by a ‘first payment’ of $8.000.000
(and not the previously stated $7.000.000 - as a "down payment") leaving a Balance of
$3.000.000 (and not $4.000.000) as stated in the 23 November 2004 RNS.
>
The remaining $3.000.000 was met by a total of 4,759,314 Ordinary Shares
at a price of 34p per Ordinary Share"
>
Perhaps one day we will all be told how Victoria Oil and Gas arrived at these figures of:
4,759,314 Ordinary Shares at a price of 34p per Ordinary Share"
> Yahoo! Finance has the S.P. on 23 November 2004 @ 26.40p — and yet —
Victoria Oil and Gas issued VOG shares totaling 4,759,314 @ 34.00p per share.
>
Here is a link to authenticate the VOG S.P. on 23 November 2004:
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/VOG.L/history?period1=1100883600&period2=1101488400&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d
>
The difference between 4,759,314 shares @ 34.00p and 4,759,314 shares @ 26.40p –
isn't exactly 'EuroMillions' – but at 8p for every one of the 4,759,314 shares this would
keep you in Pints o' Best Bitter down at the "Frog & Ferret" for quite a while; methinks?
>
Regarding the "Kevin Foo quoted" Purchase PRICE of this West Medvezhye Project –
I would challenge this $11.000.000 as grossly inaccurate with the actual TOTAL COST
being some $2.500.000 more than the original $11.000.000 - in reality $13.500.000.
(To be continued) .....

... (Continued)
As an explanation of my appraisal being that of $13.500.000 as opposed to $11.000.000
($2.500.000 more than that as put forward by Kevin Foo) although the quoted purchase
price of West Medvezhye was $11.000.000 the total PAID OUT by Victoria Oil and Gas
was that of $13.500.000.
>
This is because of the "agreed liabilities and costs" of Sever-Gas-Invest (SGI) of which
were (as claimed by Kevin Foo) $2.500.000. The added $2.500.000 COSTS were to be
paid by the Victoria Oil and Gas shareholders ... (on top of the original $11.000.000
purchase price of the original transaction).
>
Sub Total for the Project now reads = $13.500.000.
>
This $11.000.000 purchase price is a re-occurring theme throughout all the notifications
from Victoria Oil and Gas.
Yet again we read "The Total Purchase Price of $11.000.000" but this is so very untrue.
At no point have we the VOG shareholders been told that "agreed liabilities and costs"
of Sever-Gas Invest of $2.500.000 was in any way a gesture of "Good Will" that had now
been paid in full by the Victoria Oil and Gas shareholders.
>
It is therefore not a "Total Purchase PRICE of $11.000.000" – but rather a Total Purchase
COST of $13.500.000 – (inc' the approximate liabilities and costs of Sever-Gas).
>
In any event a "Good Will gesture" of $2.500.000 on an $11.000.000 transaction is too
ridiculous to consider and should this "Good Will gesture" be offered up by way of an
explanation by Victoria Oil and Gas — questions should be asked via Legal Council.
For God's sake we have just given them $11.000.000 for this "Pig-in-a-Poke" (asset?)
>
Just for a laugh I Googled Pig in a Poke and it is very apt:
"The English colloquialisms such as turn out to be a pig in a poke or buy a pig in a poke
mean that something is sold or bought without the buyer knowing its true nature or value,
especially when buying without inspecting the item beforehand"
HOW VERY BLOODY TRUE THAT IS – LOL (not).
>
In my humble opinion the only real reason that we had a West Medvezhye at all was to
"Kick Start" Victoria Oil and Gas. Kevin Foo would have had great influence in this 'start
up' as he had already worked for over two decades in Russia - (and in Kazakhstan, too).
>
NO WEST MEDVEZHYE IN SIBERIA — AND NO VICTORIA OIL and GAS
>
If we all played a game together of "Count the (GIGANTIC) Costs of West Medvezhye"
it could be of great fun. Apart from the original cost of $13.500.000 I can hear others that
are shouting out their offerings – such as "WHAT ABOUT THE $1.000.000 PER ANNUM
(for 14 years) JUST TO SERVICE THE LICENSE FEE?
>
And what about this one ??? —
"Victoria Oil and Gas takes hit on Russian asset – records $50.800.000 loss"
https://www.energyvoice.com/oilandgas/africa/91623/victoria-oil-and-gas-takes-hit-on-russian-asset-records-50-8million-loss/
>
There is plenty more and I am sure you can think of more than just these two examples.

I can think of quite a few "names" that will be scrambling to post comments condemning
what I have just posted. Perhaps that "lovely man" that posts on ADVFN share chat who
calls himself "Herman Gφring" will post accusing me of posting BULL **** – again.
NB Herr Gφring – (if that is your real name) I have provided verifiable links to everything
that I have posted on here tonight ... just for you xxx

Here's a prediction concerning the 2 numb skulls that entertain us on this LSE board:
(YOU know and WE know who you are:
Which one of them will it be that posts:
"I wonder if I should take an umbrella with me to the AGM ?"
followed up within seconds by:
"Anyone know the weather forecast for the 27th of June ?"
and then perhaps:
"Anyone fancy a pint right after the AGM ?"
>
This will of course be their idea of "rubbishing" my open and honest observations.
I welcome All and Any comments – Yes – and even hostile and ignorant comments.
But intelligent dialogue (whether Positive or Negative) will always get my full attention.

Bob

As a matter of interest I am cursed with a form of vertigo –
– ergo the 'wobbly' part of my name.

RNS should be "just-around-the-corner" if it is released before the AGM.
Victoria Oil and Gas - always - 'try' and post some 'good news' just before the AGM.
I think that they will be burning "The-Midnight-Oil" – (and Gas) – this time around to give
us all (a much needed) Shot-in-the-Arm. Cannot wait to read this – (unambiguous) – RNS..

Mr. rouseranger – You are "one-of-the-good-guys" on here that posts plenty of 'worth
reading' observations — instead of banal carp that "some" others tend to post.
Also – You Are A Team Player for contacting Ms. Baldwin on all our behalf's.
.
Don't touch that dial ... I'll be posting something of a provocative nature, later.
Wed 17:56

Mr. rouseranger – You have asked (as you say) "once more" a simple –
– YES or NO question. So why is it that you have been ignored ???
This is yet another question that should be asked by 'someone' of Roger Kennedy at this
year's AGM on the 27th of this month.
Try and imagine the fallout (if one-way-or-another) it emerged that we are NOT being
paid and that Victoria Oil and Gas has extended credit facilities to ENEO in fear of a
stampede for the exit by shareholders if Victoria Oil and Gas could not keep this from the
shareholders ? I have had a sense of unease about this for quite some time.

Roger Kennedy's feet should be stood squarely on the "Trembling Mat" at the AGM and he
should be made to answer.
Wed 16:23

If only we knew of the name of this - (so called) - Insurance Company ???
Probably called "The ACME Invest Insurance Company Limited"
And probably conveniently situated in the British Virgin Islands ?
Wed 16:13

Really naks – And Just What Gave You That Idea, pal ???
I know ... Let's Ask the Audience ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icreqHS7BpE
I have read ALL of your posts, naks, and you and I seem to be like Kindred Spirits.
There is an absolutely incredible amount of "material" that simply defies all logic.
At the moment I am "balls deep" in Research up to and including VOG's "Asset"
— West Medvezhye. If ever there was an oxymoron of contradiction ... then
calling West Medvezhye an ASSET really does take the proverbial biscuit!!!
To say it was bought for $11.000.000 in 2004 mocks our intelligence.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Stay tuned, naks – the West Med GRAVY TRAIN is a Classic tale.
It could very easily be made into a "B - Movie" (but with problems).
Like who, for instance, could they get to play the part of Foo ???

Logbaba La-108 Insurance Claim
Q1 2019 Operations Update – RNS 4551Y – 09 May 2019

The insurance claim to recover the costs associated with the La-108 well control event
has been declined by the insurer based on their opinion that there was insufficient
evidence of an underground blow-out as defined in the insurance policy.
Expert technical advisors to the Company have produced information contrary to what
the insurer has put forward and the Board believes it has reasonable prospects of
success in pursuing the claim through litigation in Cameroon.
.
The parties relating to the Logbaba Project are evaluating their options.
.
Well, by a remarkable coincidence - the AGM is to be held in the offices of:
Kerman & Co LLP, 200 Strand, London WC2R 1DJ –
– and they are Victoria Oil and Gas' lawyers – so, nobody better to ask for an update re'
the Insurance Claim (I would have thought) than THEM.
.
Perhaps after getting a clarification as to why the Victoria Oil and Gas Logo is (was)
being shared with Savannah Oil Services ???
Also, an explanation as to why a photograph of Victoria Oil and Gas' Depot in Douala
is (was) used on on Savannah's website ???

DO NOT look for any answers from Ahmet Dik because he will not be in attendance.
You would have thought that he would put in an "appearance" via 'Speaker Phone' –
BUT NO !!!

NO – No AGM for me, thank you so very, very much. Here's a link to the last year's AGM.

We never do seem to get any of the "fireworks" that are so eagerly anticipated, do we?
.
I have a truly great memory (especially for an 'old codger') and one memory of last year's
AGM was a post submitted on this board by Mr. markettimer that questioned Foo about
why it was that Savannah Oil Services - Cameroon and Victoria Oil and Gas shared the
SAME company logo??? (UNHEARD of ANYWHERE else in the 'Word of Business')
I believe that Foo was not of the opinion that this was a question of any real importance
and he motioned that - "we-need-to-move-on" - And That Was That ???
.
How do "some folk" sleep easily in their beds on a night time?
.
I think that Mr. markettimer's excellent (unanswered question) should NOT be allowed to
die-a-death and should be kept alive as this is an excellent 'cudgel' with which to beat the
Victoria Oil and Gas directors – (both PAST and PRESENT) – about the head with.
.
Mr. markettimer, if you are attending this year's AGM and you feel inclined to re-ask
your 'logo question' perhaps you could make it "Squeaky-Bum-Time" and also ask
"Why is it that on the website of Savannah Oil Services - Cameroon they are displaying
a photograph of Victoria Oil and Gas' depot in Douala" ??? Surely an outfit as Savannah
– ("At Savannah we pride ourselves (to be a) leader in energy services") – you'd think it
to be not unrealistic to have a photograph of their very own Depot ??? (and logo, too)???
.
Let's all be honest with each other - eh ??? Savannah DO NOT have a Depot do they???
They DO NOT have a Depot .. .. .. and they DO NOT have a Logo, either.

Hello again Mr. specul8.
I thought that I recognised your user name
so clicked on to it - and guess what?
In answer to someone (not me) posting their research -
- you posted on Wednesday the 30th of May:

"give us up to date news not 24 months old"

And here you are on Monday the 17th of June posting "news" from
January 2018 - "Cameroon: Victoria Oil and Gas" - (Business in Cameroon).

Would you like a piece of bread with your Humble Pie?
Sun 19:16

Hello again Mr. Johnny.c.l – I fear that perhaps we have got 'our-wires-crossed' – the
Victoria Oil and Gas historical share price of olde was A LOT healthier than that of today
However, it has never seen a closing s.p. of £42.00. I am a stickler for accuracy and try
as I may I still cannot fathom a valid interpretation of 4-200-00 as a closing s.p.–– (42p?)
Date ..... Open – 3,740.00 ..... High – 4,400.00 ..... Low – 3.720.00 ..... Close – 4.200.00
22 Dec '05 (The above figures are Yahoo! figures)
Personally speaking I have never seen figures that relate to share price movements typed
in this sort of way. I keep telling myself that this is Yahoo!Finance — so it must be me —

I will thank you once again but this has been flogged to death - so I'll just guess at 42p.
Thanks and a.t.b.
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/quote/VOG.L/history?period1=1133395200&period2=1136073600&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d&guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5sc2UuY28udWsvU2hhcmVDaGF0LmFzcD9TaGFyZVRpY2tlcj1WT0cmc2hhcmU9dmljdG9yaWFfb2ls&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAABG74D85hSTH9u0Epgfbh5erWclDUPKKgtCONiYYWJMoAqdhNQpxzx7c0_IsFoO9LGNO_0_qPe3LLDZRYKONTHnlUdx6VL0BtuPgWXG7sy8zeL7itlA9rEndryauidU1UM3pMZl5d3URXDt5RUs-S8JfTQrT3OjCUHDd-aVCx1_F
Sun 15:50

What had me confused was the Yahoo! Finance information that quoted the VOG s.p.
has SIX digits and TWO decimal points (i.e.) 4.200.00.
I would have thought that 42p would have been illustrated as 42.00.
What's with the last two zeroes?
Any help has my thanks in advance.
Sun 12:38

Mr. B and Mr. Malbrun and Mr. Johnny.c.l - Thank you very much for your posts.
They (really did) put a small lump in my throat. I think that it is a wonderful thing when
strangers can take time out and respond and help someone out that is in need. You are
all Team Players.
I think that we have 'cracked it' now with the Yahoo! Finance link. I Copied and Pasted
the link into my browser and BINGO!!!
.
According to the link (if I've read it correctly) the VOG s.p. on the 22nd of December '05
was = 4.200.00p at close of trading. Would some kind person please confirm if I'm on the
right track and that the VOG s.p. was indeed 42p? (Sorry for coming across as all "nerdy").
.
Nothing to do with my original VOG s.p. question - but take a blimp at the Volumes.
They are reading 78,445. (The one prior to that was over 100k).
.
So ... was the s.p.standing at 42p ?
Thanks lads ...
Sat 13:44

Johnny.c.l – many thanks for your reply.
I shall have a "play around" with this and I will post how I got on with it.
If I am still in "Dickie's Meadow" I shall resort to bribery – (my pal Mark).
A few pints o' Best Bitter should be okay.
Now and again I do surprise myself ... until later ... Thank you.
Sat 12:41

Hello NOVECK – bigsmoke – anyone at all ... I am asking for some kind assistance.
I have searched the Internet and the maximum period that I can go back to access
historical share prices for Victoria Oil and Gas is 5 years; but I seem to remember that
markettimer posted that he knew how to go back further than that via Yahoo! Finance.
I am both flummoxed and banjaxed and I have drawn a very large blank at every turn.
The actual date that I am after is around the 22nd of December – 20005.
.
This is most probably one of those ... "Its dead easy - - - WHEN YOU KNOW HOW ?!!?"
If anyone can help great – if not Thanks anyhow.
