You could be right. Never realised there are 2 types of DRP-broker & company. I have long term DRP through the company & that's how they work it out- 3 day average. Broker may do it differently.

You are right-I think Ill hold back on the info. next time. The question always comes up every Ex-Divi for all shares!LOL

Re:ExDivi-you need to be holding your shares end of business on the 20th. Ex-divi date on the 21st (as the term state-NO Dividend paid from 21st if purchased on that date). Record Date is when those who purchased on the 20th & before are added to registry for payments. GL.

I think that they work out the share price for DRP a couple of weeks ago (not sure maybe more). They work out an average price over 3 days period & that is the price used. Not sure what days they pick to work out the DRP though. Hope it helps. GL
