I agree-but you see a lot of companies falling into the Apple trap. Their share price dictated & controlled by Apple. Yes money made & banked but the potential of this company lost.

Thats it-the unceremonious sad end of another British company into private hands now. All the best of the future for the staff at IMG.

I have included earlier from Bloomberg Re: lawsuit between Qualcomm & Apple which seems to have dragged on for a while. This has weakened & distracted Qualcomm to the point that it is now a takeover target of Broadcom. Apple has the deeper pockets compared to IMG & maybe Canyon Bridge & can delay proceedings. Dont think that it would be settled in the near future though.

Agree-would like to see for once Apple taken to court. They have done this to so many other companies that have a close association with them.

Been on another share chat-no IMG will not be relisted as it becomes a private company owned by Canyon Bridge. Think the timescale is payment on 16th Nov. for all shareholders on record date ? 3rd Nov. (not sure when record date was).

Have been reading about the fight between Qualcomm & Apple about patents & IP. Looks messy!!! Can see similarities of this with IMG if they follow up on a case against Apple. This is an interesting article on Bloomberg of Broadcom's bid for Qualcomm & its fight with Apple.

SO quiet on the board now. I guess everyone has moved on. GLA in all their other ventures.

Meeting information in RNS

Hi Thomas Browne,

Thanks for the reassurance. Its just one thing after another for IMG. Yes why hasnt Apple said anything about it? Are they willing to take a loss on their investments-are they still shareholders? GLA

Does anyone know if the meeting today has confirmed the sale to Canyon Bridge? As someone say, you just cannot make this up. Im having doubts now!!!

Hi Laguerre,

MVN Asset Management Limited - who are they?
24 Oct '17

Very interesting how many companies got their hands on the pie??? Think they are all out to make a quick buck...

If approved, all the shares will be paid out to shareholders on the registry & IMG will become a private company. All shares will be bought by Canyon bridge, you will not be able to hold any shares in IMG.

The 182 was mentioned in the info. I received but subject to shareholder approval on the 31st Oct. meeting. All shares will cease to exist between 6-8th Nov & it will exist as a private company for Canyon Bridge.

The Scheme is subject to shareholder approval at a General Meeting and Court approval at a Court Meeting both to be held on 31st October 2017. The Scheme will then be subject to Court sanctioning at a Court Hearing to be held on or about 6th November 2017.

Subject to acquiring the necessary approval, the Scheme is expected to become effective on or about 7th November 2017.

Prior to the Scheme becoming effective, an application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of listing of the Imagination shares. Subsequently, the cancellation of admission to trading is expected to become effective on or about 8th November 2017 with the last day in dealings expected to be on or about 6th November 2017.

The Scheme Proceeds are expected to be credited to your account on or after 21st November 2017. Should you retain your holding of Imagination shares, we will notify you when the cash has been credited to your account.
