You mean by having a Placing to fund the 'Buy back', lol ;)

Have a good weekend all!
Fri 15:09

It was actually a turn of phrase and not a literal statement Manan, but thank you for pointing it out, lol.

......the flipside is we may get news tomorrow.
Fri 14:42

"The Company has sufficient working capital through to the end of July 2019, following receipt of 429,200 pursuant to the Exempt Placing Shares Admission - section B:11 of the Prospectus.

Art does what Art wants......and pays himself handsomely for doing so.
Fri 12:16

I don't think anyone has anything completely 'new' and that goes for most discussions on these BB's......the whole of the LSE forums would be quiet if that was a pre-requisite for posting.

However, we take the available information with our own perspectives, providing a platform to interpret current & future developments........Shorelines position is a case in point!

It's certainly frustrating but macro economic factors don't really play into the scenario that's unfolding.

The prospectus refers to certain 'activities / ways of conducting business' in the region, that could potentially put the company at risk. Some commented that such inclusion proved the company were not involved in such. I see it as quite the contrary and accept that any business dealings in that region, would be heavily reliant on 'inducements' etc......at all levels.

The size of the recent placing just seems to indicate that Art has no real idea of the timeframes that may be involved for resolution of the necessary issues - it could be tomorrow or much longer.

It looks like corrupt individuals and a similar system, masquerading as beauracracy, that's holding up progress.

To me, that potentially includes Shoreline themselves (their Govt. level influence should surely have borne some fruit by now). I'm not definately saying they (or even Art Millholland) have complicity in such initiatives but point out the possibility of such, within current and future developments unfolding.

What 'Corporate Actions' would entail, if further Equity raises were found to be problematic?

I'm still invested, as we may yet see a succesful resolution to the situation and if such, the Upside appreciation v Downside loss, make this a compelling hold - however, accepting the high risk also attached.

I also find Art Millholand to be less than credible in his dealings with wider shareholders, his PR statements (just prior to the Placing) being just one example of that cynical attitude he has......along with the generosity he bestows on himself regarding his own remuneration and inability to tackle overheads.

I see him as untrustworthy....imho.

Let's see what transpires however!

That post wasn't only for Ojay & Capt Stanley......and no insult meant to either.

Wider conspiracy theories aside and irrespective of differing viewpoints in the past, at this particular juncture we all seem to be in accord

ie that we have an excellent prospect here for a successful result off 1 or more of the multiple upcoming drills.

The concensus for agreement on our primary focus is greater than the divergence of opinions on other issues.

It wont be long now until all our individual voices get drowned out by the 'invading horde' soon, anyway - it will happen, as any of us involved in the Markets for any length of time, know.

We'll be into Operations soon enough.

The 'Rabid Rampers' are in their death throes I believe, or they certainly would have ganged up & jumped on you by now, Bell60 ;)

"well t would make sense that Art would not release news until the placing shares have been churned."

I'm not sure many of you understand how the markets work & the responsibility of Companies operating in that environment.

Art would need to release materially significant news at the earliest appropriate time and certainly not with consideration to what (may) be happening with previously placed shares - he wont be looking to see if they're 'churned' or not.

Investment decisions really shouldn't be made on that sort of highly eroneous rationale.

I hope that clarifies things for some on here at least.

Atb & have a lovely day

"I believe we will be hearing news quite soon"!

Okay, let's see how that works out. I can sell out now at a very slight profit, but I'm letting things ride here to see what materialises and accepting the obvious risks most of us are aware of.

......even the juvenile posting from certain individuals ;)

Atb all & have a good evening.
Wed 15:03

Interactive investor did the same, with a major reduction in its use - I completely stopped any posting there myself.

Not sure what LSE were thinking!
Wed 14:58

A few (relatively) decent sized BUYS in there........19K etc.

Interesting times perhaps - let's see what the next newsflow is!

The 'pond life' posting last night had some valid concerns, imo........just as Jiving has some interesting points himself.

It's pointless getting partisan in investing, to the point of filtering out any contrary viewpoint / perspective that doesn't sit conveniently with a given position in a company.

The situation certainly isn't clear cut enough, to have that luxury here.

I'm open to what everyone has to say - investment specific if course.

Atb all
