Not such bad advise. Us long term holders were looking forward to so many milestones that would boost the SP, and all turned out to do the opposite. Planning permission, st1, off takes, more off stakes, start of construction, more off takes, st 2, to name but a few. The last chance for the sp to rise now is the actual completion of the mine, and that wont be for another 3 years.
I do not believe that the successful sale of the bonds will do anything material to the sp.

I can tell you, and I think on behalf of others too, that the last thing I intend to do is to get out at this ridiculous share price. This would crystallise and unfortunate paper loss into an actual loss. Just not worth it at this level.

And for what? To stick the money into another share that has more scope of rising? Is that guaranteed?
So does that mean I bought SXX high, and now its a good idea to get out while its low? Buy high, sell low? Sound investing strategy.

If its on Facebook it must be true.

It's relatively easy to see 5p. They are not much smaller than the 10p coins.
Mon 16:43

Closed on days low. Sets us up for yet another drop tomorrow.
The share that never stops disappointing.
Mon 15:32

14, 13, 12p..8p.....who cares. Makes no difference anymore at this stage does it. Those who have stuck around, like me, are already so far down, that whats left doesn't really matter anymore.

I will be patient, and in a few years time I shall see that the SP is back at my average buy price.
Mon 15:23

MM's have no mechanism to "take the price down". Therefore it would be silly to convey some "coded" message to other MM's as it just cannot happen.

I could buy or sell 300 shares, but I wouldn't, because of the dealing fees.

Actually, from my point of view the SP being that low is quite surprising, considering what it was when the project was still wearing nappy's.
Or maybe it was surprising how high the SP was back then?
Fri 20:16

In other words, if you thought this was an investment, think again, this is just a hobby, if you have too much money.
Fri 16:04

No Sharewizz. Those are ultra LTH.
Fri 15:56

No DRG, in the scheme of things you are still a newbie. And I dont think your paper loss is sufficient to class you as a long term holder.
Fri 15:35

Generally you can tell if you are a long term holder in SXX by the size of your paper loss. Generally the bigger it is, the longer you have held, and if its approaching 50 to 60% or more, then you are definitely a long term holder.
Fri 08:16

Same here. I will be in here until we either get to £1 a share, or 0p. Whichever comes first.
Thu 15:52

Do you also ask for reasons for the rise when it goes up?
Thu 06:20

Market makers are unable to raise or drop the sp. They have no mechanism to do this. They just make money on the spread. They are unable to manipulate the sp.

Amers,
I suspect Brad has lost a packet here recently. With exception of today, eveyday he claimed to have gone short the SP shot up lol : )
Wed 15:54

Its goes up and down. Longer term I suspect it will go up more than it goes down. I would like to see 40p, but until then volatility will be high I suspect, and we might find it shooting up 10% one day, and dropping 8% the next day, but I am not worried about that.

Is that what you want? :)
8 Jun '19

Would love 2.50 but let's stay real. I am hoping we will never go down the flybe route
5 Jun '19

You hope for your drop. I hope for my rise.
The upside is potentially unlimited here. Downside is not much given the low sp already. Be careful shorting here. Could get seriously burnt!!!
