I got out of this dog of a share. For anyone looking for a better investment/trading opportunity then SOLG have news on drill 3 assays due in the next few days. Good time to buy in. As usual DYOR first.
10 Oct '13

SOLG looking good. Superb results from drill hole1. Sentiment high with final assay results to come from hole 1 shortly. hole 2, hole 3 results also to follow in the coming weeks. Bought in today.

True, and I accept that a market has to be created, but it was the way the ask shot up late yesterday afternoon initially on low volume. dazhahs probably hit the nail on the head with his theory that sp was aligning with ASX, but on the other hand your theory could also be correct and we are overdue some news.

Let's hope for some positive news tomorrow or early next week to change sentiment here.

Is fear logical?

MM's create fear/panic to make money simple and yesterday/today is a prime example
10 Oct '13

Fair point, but the last 24 hour's have shown just how quickly mm's can fool PI's into thinking that news is due.
10 Oct '13

In that case, why did they bring the SP down in the first place to 7.8 ?
10 Oct '13

I bet the mm's made a killing on that rise and fall and many PI's will have fallen for it.
How could they raise the buy price so suddenly to 8.8p yesterday on very little demand.
AIM really is corrupt and seriously needs an overhaul in legislation to give PI's a level playing field.
Thoroughly disgusted!!

I wonder if any of the zones tested on zjs7 with high porosity measurements have flowed free without frac already? Next few days will be very interesting.
9 Oct '13

Cheers, Looks like mm's playing their games
9 Oct '13

have L2 summary please
7 Oct '13

nothing wrong with taking their time as long as they keep us updated. This could be just a natural pause in operations when the company analyse and reflect before proceeding with the next onslaught. they must by now have an immense amount of data from the 3 wells and 2d seismics to wade through and next step will probably be crucial
7 Oct '13

Thanks, so in theory anyone selling around this level is getting sh**fted
7 Oct '13

Anyone worked out LRL cash value. I'm interested to know if this could go any lower?
7 Oct '13

I agree, much uncertainty now and shareholder's deserve and update on ZJS7 at least.
There are so many possible outcome's
Another snippet from 17th Sept RNS
"The potential pay zones intersected include deeper zones which are the main production horizons elsewhere in the Ordos Basin."
It could be that they know ZJS7 is a no goer already, but they want to continue, knowing that the deeper zones link, and they are currently gathering as much info as possible to locate best spud location for ZJS8.
It's a guessing game at the moment unfortunately.
7 Oct '13

Yes, just a hunch that's all. I don't know all the technical in's and out's.
Snippet from 17th Sept RNS
"Side core samples have been taken and a decision will be taken on which zones will be flow tested once the laboratory results and the final logging interpretation results have been received and analysed."

Suggests to me that they want to thoroughly analise each potential pay zone. If they have to frac one/some of the zone's in the future, then they will want to be absolutely sure that none of the water bearing zone's are disturbed in the process. Perhaps someone with more technical, on the ground knowledge could elaborate on this?
7 Oct '13

Could it be logging the deeper zone's takes longer and if these deeper zone's are linking to other deeper zones in the overall area, they need to do a lot more testing etc.

AND, they will be extremely cautious this time after the mistakes made at ZJS6
7 Oct '13

Yes, fingers crossed indeed.
Anyway, where do we go from here?
I'm hoping that the indecision in America, predicted until at least Thursday won't affect us much as we are already at cash level

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-2448302/FTSE-LIVE-Markets-turn-red-US-budget-crisis-drags-on.html

Hoping for at least a positive technical update this week to keep us in the picture.
7 Oct '13

Yes, that's a likely explanation, as in doing some housekeeping before they announce more on the split.
I wonder if this is a precursor to more news this week?
Long term sufferer's here would really appreciate some good news
