then its lights out for many a gold miner even this one...but i dont think thats on the cards, central banks will always provide a buying source for gold as they see it as security long term and longer term inflation will bite and gold will have its day, but investors-traders are looking in short term timescales which is why a lot of them are nervous wrecks

the competiton (saipem) release bad news specific to them, they seem to be losing out to the competition (pfc), usual knee jerk market reaction..
