Sounds real cyberpunk. Like jacking into the net and your spirit goes online and moves freely across cyberspace. Perhaps that's where posters go when they pass over, waiting for some super nerd to build a 3D bio-printer to resurrect them again. Who knows perhaps you will find your way back that way ..... printed out as a 3D living-breathing copy centuries from now. :-)

I think you need to look at your last post again. I don't think you meant to put that final sentence in quite the way you did!!

One thing to bear in mind when you see stories like that is that there are cancers and there are cancers. They are frequently very different from one another. Hodgkin's Lymphoma, the cancer featured in the article is specifically a cancer of white blood cells. It is not as great a killer as many cancers, so generally the prognosis is more favourable. Over 80 percent of those diagnosed with this type of lymphoma will live for more than 5 years and many can live on for 40 years. So that article is not about the treatment of cancer as such but about one particular type of cancer.
Scancell is concentrating on the big killers in the cancer world, melanoma and lung cancer, for which on current treatment regimes patients have little hope of long term survival. I believe that Scancell has developed a vaccine platform in ImmunoBody with the power to turn that around and offer sufferers many years of extra life without causing harmful side effects. And also in the coming years prevent these cancers from arising in the first place.
