Yes I just wonder what sort of companies our "bashers" might be able to run?
selling mags in supermarket entrances?

moneyhawk wonder if a few of the "basher" post strings are being deleted, must be tough to be a "basher" :-)

cd their Company Website has not been touched since 2016 all they did was "delete" the team page and even got that wrong, they have probably have about half the acreage claimed, but sad to see the problems they are in even if much of their own making.
They arrived on the slope in a blaze of glory, PB nicked the prime lease 392301 off them and after the Alkaid disaster and departure of Ed Duncan its been nothing.
DW has always been more circumspect, we could have borrowed big time for loads of 3D, LIDAR and winter wells off the gravel pad but did GBP no good.

cd I remember that well, MikeMason now long gone along with the other members of his team, in truth he probably had the experience to do a good job but no money, think he spent most of his time in the Anchorage Petroleum Club and touring the colleges.

As I have previously mentioned the COP "Bear" Survey becomes more significant 6 miles away from our Western Fairway and now bordering our Horseshoe leases.
This is fact not guesswork
Today 09:51

Bel sure you are correct but I need to do some sums just to confirm.
Co0pz show the pressure GBP are under, until SOA rebates are paid they are stuffed and they can not afford to drill the Dalton and Horseshoe in any case, Otto are committed to GOM so looks as if a positive deal for all has resulted.
Doubt any drilling company would want to work with GBP until they have cash in bank, Nabors had to threaten court action and Haliburton ended up taking a stake via Red Technology Alliance, even Geokinetics got paid in kind.

Smiffy you are welcome to your view, if you believe that then I should forget any thoughts of investing.
My view this has been in the headlights for quite a while, this was Great Bears jewel in the crown and financial pressures have meant they have had to take a decision or risk losing all their leases on the Dalton Highway.
It should be noted that Otto had previous interest in this block, so they have derisked it for us on the basis of 2016 3D shoot, if they had doubts doubt they would have moved forward.
This has not come together in the last 2 weeks.

JofH GBP had an agreed 3 year extension rather than one year and are not based in same office block as far as I am aware, however you are probably correct regarding DW & MA knowing each other, both worked - trained - developed at Woodside Petroleum and DW's possibly last oil analysis for Argonaut was Otto Energy.

cd66 Horseshoe could rank with Yukon Gold but will probably surpass it, think OSH will be wondering why they are not in the mix and possibly Repsol as well.
This is great news, success rate on the Nanushuk with modern 3D is excellent, Decker report tells all

Things are moving fast.

we are now right in the Nanushuk mix with COP,Repsol, OSH & Armstrong.
Some very narrow minds I am afraid we are not just HRZ one trick pony, DW said we had funds for future developments on the North Slope, announcements are not finished yet.
Today is a GOOD one.
Importantly we have the drilling management.

sprintman all part of the service, still some work to do on the page

But as far as I am concerned this is excellent news, we now have four projects and seem to have gained with this last one Great Bear's jewel in the crown, amazed no one had previously forced Pat Galvin's hand on this, Dave and Mattie Allen must have bent his fingers back until he had to give up the ball, to quote rugby parlance.
Nanushuk is where it is at, not only our Western fairway but also now Horseshoe.

remember that map does not show recent AEA,Regen, Repsol, COP lease purchases
Today 08:29

Horshoepage added to WIKI
Today 08:07

Caught off guard, need a whole new load of questions and queries.

We will see some new ones today I think
Today 08:04

Patch you better read up on the Nanushuk and the success rate being achieved with modern 3D
Today 08:03

smiffy do some research and tell us please
Today 07:57

originally posted Saturday, but have posted previously, I actually doubt that many even read the Decker report whilst fixating on whether or not the HRZ will flow to timetable, think bigger and don't pontificate on things that are completely beyond our ken and control.

For those actually researching and not repeating guff from the ill advised, un researched and plain sick in the head.
If you can't see the potential then there is no hope.
Sun 17:36

just reading not much to add.
Agree with lots from Whojamaflip, WA and even Smithy@home
I will wait for the next ANN and use others posts as a springboard for my own research.
What's the issue if it takes two weeks or a month to reach the FF target.
Best of luck, stay appy.
