ninetails -buyback it may happen in the near future we never know.
anyway
- you know that Wytch Farm represent this same geological formation "structure" like HH, (British Petroleum's Kimmeridge Oil Field) at hhe beginning also report aprox 220 bopd - it was just a matter of time (long time) until they hit a peak of 110.000 bpd - current production 50.000 bpd.
So number of share in circulation are not that important for UKOG atm- they job is to prove the HH Kimmeraidge concept will give similar or even better results compare WF. Then UKOG may start thinking of move to FTSE ... and do buyback.
We will see results in 5 to 7 yrs.
I hate current SP - I am in paper loss- I like UKOG concept - I like UKOG portfolio - and I will wait.

flappingchicken - lol - you sound more like gambler than investor LOL

The numbers of share is not a issue... for example ---

Take Home Depot (NYSE: HD) as an example. Back in January 2004, the do-it-yourself home improvement retailer had 2.3 billion shares in circulation!!!!! At the time, Home Depot had nearly $3 billion in cash and didn't need the money to run the business, as operations were already profitable. So in the intervening years, Home Depot bought back (and retired) more than 700 million shares. And by reducing shares outstanding by more than 30%, the company's earnings per share have been able to rise steadily higher.

UKOG can do exactly this same, and probably they will in the near future.

Key point for UKOG now is collect data from HH and provide side track in BBz1, rig at HH, IOW planning, production licence, move from AIM to FTSE 300 ... ect.

Oil business is not a 60m run - this is a long term investment - minimum 5-7 years - IBH I am not happy with the SP (I am on massive paper loss) but lets be honest company PORTFOLIO looks better than before (2017), HH is producing oil with 40API that's a fact.

Ps.
As the Home Depot example shows, stock buybacks can help boost the value of a stock as the number of shares in circulation fall.
When a stock buyback occurs, most investors will not see any substantial change in their stock ownership levels or cash paid to them as they would through a stock split or a dividend increase, but there are subtle ways in which the investors are affected. Since a buyback reduces the overall number of shares available in the open market, in theory, our stock should be worth more money in the long run.

UKOG need institutional investors or news about JV to move sp rapidly UP.
Future looks bright, nothing is change in UKOG portfolio - good and gr8 news ahead of us.
ps.
This is oil business, patience is required.
5-7 yrs.

Lest hope, this summer, company achievements will move SP toward North.

Portfolio looks very promising better than in 2017 - future looks bright.

Sold at small loss, I didn't expecting that, lesson learned.
Few k lost, could be worse.

this is a farce - fucking farce

So many holders are on paper loss, some more than 60k!! -

National Significance - remember lads and girls.
17 May '19

To hit 7p again we will have to wait few years, imho...
I am happy to wait.
15 May '19

Alba SP below 0.4p is classify as barging IMO - I was really hoping to see Alba finally go above 0.35p
14 May '19

I be happy with 0.4p
14 May '19

I be honest - I am tempting to sell and make few £££ - but when I start thinking about future and potential ££££££ I have big smile on my face.
I understand this is AIM but imho the so should not go below 0.3 this month - base on todays RNS and potential RIG at HH.
I long term this can be massive.
But I think Alba is to small to do all mining projects alone - so we will see JV in the near future.
2mrw big day - I will pray for rig arrival at HH :)
14 May '19

that's correct - sp at close was worth 0.29p (rise 23.40%)
14 May '19

so gatowsket - what is your SP prediction by end of this month - personaly I this sp should (I repeat) should not go bellow 0.3p
14 May '19

open 0.32p imho

then who knows - if rig arrive at HH this will hit 0.4p easy.
14 May '19

Awsome RNS

"Alba now has two projects - TBS and Melville Bay - with JORC-compliant resources. We are due to start drilling at our Limerick Base Metals project imminently, followed in June and July by drilling at Amitsoq, our graphite project with world-leading graphite grades. And this is without mentioning the ongoing work to re-open the Clogau Gold Mine in Wales, and the ongoing exploration of the 30km stretch of the Dolgellau Gold Belt, under exclusive licence to Alba, which has already seen some very exciting results."
14 May '19

0.7p this year very possible
