APC summary

here is my belated summary of a few chats I,ve had with the bod and PR over last few weeks 1- they are excited about their II base, and said there were 3-4 main II that showed their faith in the company ( 2 have now been named via RNS0 2- the MRW back on line is testament to both parties as it has take 12mths to get the "right fit" and actually this new phase could be much larger than the original 2012/13 scope 3- mrw is one of only a few large blue chips that are placing regular orders 4- they are excited to be doing work for OR getting interst to quote for some of UK largest/most well known/important sites 5- they could have said more in the last update but realised ( and I agree) that it might be best to start 2015 with similar expectations in last broker note but when/if more lands then obviously that will be significant upgrades 6- US going well and they are very optimistic on their breakeven and then profitability time scales 7 I talked about oil prices and its effect on green tech, but we all agreed that for retailers not only is low inflation, more consumer spending and chance to wipe 20% off your overheads actually makes this energy climate MORE condusive to long term orders, also the recent research articles suggest the LED lighting means people spend more time in store. They said they expect to see more and more businesses committing to their energy reduction plans. However in future roadshows/presentations I did suggest that "educating"the market that lower oil prices doesn,t really impact the legislation/commitment to saving energy. In fact I am sure ( I was on mobile) they said they had/are receiving enquiries from 200-300 new avenues 8- I talked about completion and I believe our competition typically offers single technologies or services and their approach is vulnerable if the technology does not make a significant financial impact then it doesnít get the necessary volumes, whereas APC taking the last 18mths to diversify and enlarge the APC offering will place us in a great position going for larger contracts or facilities mgmt. type contracts 9- I then chatted about our 2015 offerings and from their PR I received this (1) we offer several technologies in each arena (for example in terms of efficiency we have LEDís, monitoring and targeting, boiler optimisation, air-conditioning optimisation, building control and others in development) (2) we design the systems and if required project manage and/or install (3) we have multiple technology areas (e.g consultancy, efficiency, generation, water) so can cross sell very effectively once we have established the client trust and (4) we have the financing capabilities in house with very strong third party backing
