Polish July output rises 5.2 pct y/y, above forecast

WARSAW, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Poland's industrial output rose 5.2 percent year-on-year in July,
above forecast, statistics office data showed on Monday.

The data also showed producer prices rose 3.7 percent year-on-year and were a touch lower than expected.

Analysts in a Reuters poll expected output to have grown 4.1 percent in July, with PPI at 3.9 percent.

In monthly terms, output fell 2.3 percent, while seasonally adjusted output was up 4.7 percent year-on-year last month, the data also showed.
