why do i keep banging on about VOh? well, simply (!!), these VOh signals, by definition, first appear when the sp goes above hourly cloud. right.

a 2-3 month trend usually has an hourly elliott wave associated with it

the hourly elliott wave curve happens above the hourly cloud

techno traders enter once the elliott wave has been established

hourly VOh does give false signals occasionally but providing i'm cost-averaging a holding, it's not an issue if the fundamentals haven't changed for the worse

if the VOh is false, it means there isn't enough buying support under the cloud (something which can be easily checked before any potential buys on a VOh signal)

if the trend kicks in and no further VOh signals appear at a higher price, do the maths. the price is higher, the momentum is not allowing VOh signals to appear so buying pressure is consistent so sp is likely to go up so just ride the wave and choose an exit, ideally when you can sell above the second resistance level on a pivot point (hint, that's my target which i do stick to)

what all this means is that i don't actually need to do anything other than wait. easy.

JLP worth sticking on a radar. will have to see how CAZA is at end of tomoz - am waiting for another chunk but no VOh yet so sitting on hands.

and i'll be entirely honest, outside of the VOh signal, i have absolutely no idea when the best time to buy is.

as for 'them and us'....how does that fit in with this VOh thing? well, with GDP, i recall saying that a few VOh signals kicked up in 11-12p region few months ago, then after that, no more. according to my 'them and us' theory, MMs didn't create a further VOh signal cos' they didn't need to cos' of the demand by 'them', hence the further increase in sp before the latest RNS. wot that means for me is that if i'm plugging away at these signals, then one day (providing no dodgy RNSs come along) there'll be a point when no further signals are created.

OMI. i'm not amused. but heyho. still undervalued by assets so just a case of waiting for the next VOh. it's on the naughty step for a few weeks while everyone else just panics. i find it's just better to do nothing in these cases.

ummmm, who's still buying AGY?! well overbought now on daily. given this observation that PIs just love to buy stuff when stoopidly overbought, which takes a good few weeks/months to happen, there's very little point me putting up radar shares cos' things appear on my radar 3-6 months before everyone else figures out something is going up.

recent random rises in things though has reaffirmed the fact that there IS spare PI money about that only comes in on a sp that races away and rises by 20% by the time someone has logged into their trading account. i can wait for the hot money. it will come. it always does.

http://www.shareplc.com/shareplc/shareholder-perks.html

i think SHRE has updated the shareholder perks - it used to be there was a maximum amount of discount they'd give per quarter if you were a shareholder and used them as a broker, but this latest quarter i seem to have exceeded the discount i usually get so i checked the above and hey presto! looks like i only need to hold 500 shares to get the discount, subject to the conditions.

well now we've established GDP has moved, really needs to break 15.375p for a proper breakout. FY11 gave adjusted eps of 1.8p, with fair value PE range of 18p to 30.6p (a broker target, go figure). RNS few months ago said FY12 results show operating profit more than FY11. is it too much to expect (?) for MMs to at least get to somewhere in fair value sp range for FY11 before FY12 are out?!
