Quoted

"The MSCI Asia Pacific Index has risen 32 percent this year, set for the biggest annual gain since 2003. Stocks in the benchmark are valued at 23 times estimated earnings for this year, higher than 17 times for the S&P 500 and 15 times for Europe’s Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index, according to Bloomberg data."

Valuation Concern

“There is doubt as to whether the current outlook for profit growth next year can justify current valuations,” said Hideo Arimura, a senior fund manager at Mizuho Asset Management Co., which oversees the equivalent of $35 billion in Tokyo.

Hi bahman , .. a worthy post , I would say that weakness will likely prevail more so pro rata given the likely central bank direction should other markets remain flat to fragile ... a worthy read

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/8327493.stm

Interesting to follow in relation as to how the markets there continue to react and perhaps be replicated should the same reports start emerging in Europe , etc.

I have only traded the India 50 via IG , that fell off and settled at -2.64% , got on the back of it a little late .. would like to trade the Sensex and others on a spreadbetting basis but limited by choice , do you have any leads , if not , could you keep your eye out and post should you find anything of interest just as I will , many thanks.

the day trader tips are well worth a read. Plus the website gives a good overview for anyone looking to trade the indian market.
PS - far as i am aware non indians cannot invest directly into the market, but various ETF are available to counter this problem. I'm only looking to trade the indice intially.
