The new Share Chat 'Thread View' is a feature we've been working on for a little while now, and hope that it's a great new addition to LSE. If you're not quite sure about it, let me explain and highlight some of the advantages/features below;

Firstly, all posts written in 'Thread View' are also shown in 'Message View', and vice versa. If you reply to a post, you will be taken to that post's thread to write your reply.

Once you have posted in, or are the creator of a thread, any new posts in that thread are highlighted to you in 'Thread View' via a red counter icon. This way it's easy to see if someone has replied to a thread that you're part of.

Threads allow you to chat about a specific subject within a share, without having to filter through all the messages to work out if someone is replying to you or not. It also allows you to reply to another member without having to use their username as the subject to grab their attention. Just reply directly to their message/thread and...Hey Presto!...they know you're chatting regarding their subject.

We'll still be developing 'Thread View' to make it better, so if you have any feedback please leave it in the Help and Feedback section: www.lse.co.uk/general-chat-topics.asp?CatCode=rc3brs

(My thanks go to Richard for putting this introduction together)
